There are two new, limited edition Tom Ford Eye Color Quads for summer. I was pleasantly surprised by the formula, as I often find the more traditional formula from the brand to be so-so but not “worth” that $90 price tag. Here are swatches!

Medium, Olive, neutral undertones. Combination skin.

Tropical Dusk enthralls me, but I know that I probably don’t actually need it! It sure is a beauty, though!

Very Light, Pink undertones. Normal-to-Dry skin.

A bit of a snooze-fest! In some ways, these 2 quads look almost like identical shadows just rearranged in the palettes…. For $115 Canadian, I need a whole lot more “bang for my buck” and excitement than these 2 quads offer!

I agree Mariella – you could easily substitute one for the other and it really is just a change of hue in many of the recent TF quads. They retail here for $145….so they have to be good.

They look so similar to each other and to most of the recent TF quads. Other than the Khaki and Violet quads for holiday 2022, the brand hasn’t strayed from these warm browns and pinks.

That’s fair! I feel like Tropical Dusk is a lil’ different, but I had similar thoughts about Island Haze!

As good as the formula seems to be this time, I think these two quads are very much in same vein as all their others lately….lots and lots of pinks!

They look like Mothership Divine Rose I and II

Sigh. Sorry, for $90 these palettes are just too “been there, done that.”
