Is this worth the high price that accompanies it?
I literally just got these Monday – I put up a sneak peek to share swatches, but this isn’t a review as I have not tested them yet.
Beautiful palette, reminds me of Anastasia BH’s LE Self Made palette which was cheaper and which I already have ?. Though this has more blues.
Self-Made is fun!
The swatches look great. Very shimmery palette. Colour wise it is of no consequence for my stash.
Lots and lots of shimmers in her line from what I gathered!
Hmmm…. Definitely interested. I think I can make good use of the versatile shadow range. The swatches look quite pigmented too. Waiting for your review of this palette. Would like to know if it is worth the high price.
Hoping to test some soon. If Beautylish sells individually, I will probably review as I go and then post a “palette review” as a round-up after I make my way through the line. Otherwise, probably not until March/April for a review, lol.
Dying to try this brand, but this palette looks really similar to some of the recent MUFE palettes and the quality appears to be nearly equal. Also, the price! I think I’ll skip this one and invest in one of the bigger palettes ( drooling over the brown/green one). Seems like a better value.
This line’s price point is definitely high-end/luxury!
Mmm… they’re nice, I especially like Deep Teal and Light Coral, but Anthrazit doesn’t look so hot.
Ha, it was the first one I swatched, and I was like “Oh no…” but they got better (well, swatching at least, haven’t had a chance to do much testing yet!).
All of them look good except for 1st one and the purple looks like it has fall-out, but they look fixable, but $95 is a lot. The blue is stunning!
It is a lot to put down all at once!
Honestly I have both the big palettes and this one and they’re worth every penny in my opinion! It is going to be nearly impossible to find shadows with intense pigmentation and no fall out so it’s slightly to be expected. But these shadows are probably some of the best I’ve ever used from any brand! I have almost all anastasia’s shadows and tons of makeup forever as well and these overall are still better I’d say.
Reminds me of UD Smoked palette color scheme :O
I don’t think it’s nearly as dark!
I thought the same thing!
These swatches look more uneven to me than most of the ones from the giant-sized palette. I would love to have Blue Spruce and Graphite. I sure hope they get them as singles — these palettes are definitely too expensive to buy for personal use unless you’ll use all the colors. More justifiable for a pro kit, I think, if the quality is consistent on the lids.
Here’s hoping they do singles!
Nice colors and these appear to have swatched better than the mega palettes but $95 is ridiculous. Is the packaging as cheap as it looks?
The packaging is functionality, but it is has a cushy, vinyl-like exterior with a foam interior. The mirror doesn’t stand up on its own (which some like, some don’t like). The packaging doesn’t feel flimsy, but it doesn’t feel high-end.
I feel like the should have done a palette of this size at $70-$80 range you can get more eyeshadows product from other higher end ranges. it also give buyers a chance to try out this brand that don’t know her work, to try out in a sampler palette.
The only shadow that is a skip for me is Anthrazit. I do like the other colors. I might consider asking for this as a swap item.
That one did seem problematic when swatched! Hopefully it performs better in practice.
Thanks for the swatches of this palette, Christine. From what I understand about ND eyeshadows is that they are very pigmented and blend nicely and there’s nothing like them in the market. I have heard that but are messy (only need to pick up a smidge of minimize the amount that kicks up) there’s fallout and the vinyl palette cover is a step up from the plastic that contains her quads. On her website, I’ve seen 1 and 2–shade eyeshadows palettes.
I don’t know that I’d say there’s nothing like them on the market myself, but we’ll see. Maybe they’ll wear for 14 hours or something 😉
Look forward to your assessment. I’m not sure this brand appeals to me, even on the highlighter side.
I have been very curious about this line lately. I am glad you are reviewing it. It seems very sexy and the large palettes look so beautiful. I have lots of MUFE shadows, so i may or may not get some of these in the future since some may be comparable, but I do find these lovely and I am looking forward to your reviews and swatches.
MUFE definitely has a firmer/denser texture to me for their shimmery shades compared these. They remind me a little more of Makeup Geek Foiled & NYX Prismatic.
Do you prefer the denser MUFE texture?
I don’t have a preference either way so long as the product applies well — e.g. doesn’t sheer out too easily but still blends, doesn’t fade immediately, etc. Sometimes soft can be more prone to those things but sometimes not at all.
Blue Spruce and Deep Teal are definitely the star shades in this palette for me. So beautiful.
They are pretty!
Thank you for posting these! Definetely will need to know if these are “worth” it! I must have completely ignored this brand launching.
No problem, Nicole!
Some of these shades look nice, but I’m not seeing anything to justify the price premium over MUFE prices. Thanks for swatching them!
On the upside, at least each pan contains a good amount (though more than most will ever need for a lifetime, like MUFE, ha).
Love these shades, but I’m not sure if I’m willing to spend $95 on it. Can’t wait to see what you think. 🙂
I get that! It is a lot to spend on a single item, even if there are several shades.
These shades are pretty over all but no mattes either. 😉
At the $9.50 per pan price range I’m wondering about the metallic/shimmer formulas compare to Kat Von D and MUFE. 🙂
I mean I dropped $100CAN on KvD shadow last Sephora sale for 5 shades and I don’t regret that, but if these are comparable that’s a steal.
I wish they’d let you build your own palette at the discounted pricing – I think that would make more sense. Perhaps a 14 or 21 palette as well.
Inglot knows their market for a reason. 😉
It looks nice, but to be totally honest, for the price, I’d rather buy TF. Most of his being of richer looking quality for the Luxury price tag. #StillLemmingHoneymoon!
Additionally, I’d rather have a MUFE or UD palette that reviews well instead of the ND palette above!
There ya go 🙂
Again, love the colors. Pricy. I also have two drawers full of eyeshadows so really don’t need.
This looks like a far more manageable palette – really pretty colours – but quite expensive.
Hmmm, that first swatch looks dubious. I like the color story though.
Bleh. I’m not excited about the ingredients, no custom palettes, and everything being priced so ridiculously high for no reason when only a few might be promising. I’m eager your reviews to settle the truth once and for all.
I love the blue, teal and the slate here! I hope they perform well. The price is too steep for my budget though.
Pretty, but this one isn’t unique enough to justify the money for me. It kind of reminds me of an ABH palette.
I have the green-brown palette and they’re amazing! Somebody mentioned it was more of a lid shadow only palette, meaning it’s more meant as a pop of color, and I agree. But still the prettiest colors! Can’t wait to pick up the other 28 palette!
All of these swatches look amazing! I can’t wait to see how Raw Gold reviews.
This sounds much better than huge super expensive over 200$ palettes!! Really looking forward to your review, is it coming soon :)? Do you know, if Beautylish will carry single ND eyeshadows too and are they same quality :)?
For that price you’d expect them to look super-awesome! And they do not 🙂 Who even is Natasha Denone and why is it so expensive a brand? 🙂
Eh. Swatches look okay, but it’s a ‘safe’ palette, boring to me.
It’s a cute palette, but something I have to comment on that I always notice with these palettes: while I appreciate that they have an even mix of warm and cool tones, I’ll never understand why the cool toned shades are always brights rather than neutrals, which makes it far less versatile for people who are actually cool-toned.
