Sneak Peek: Makeup Atelier Eyeshadow Palettes (x7) Photos & Swatches
Makeup Atelier Amazon Eyeshadow Palette
Makeup Atelier Eyeshadow Palette ($35.00 for 0.44 oz.) include five shades in each palette. The majority of the ones I have are mostly matte to matte with a couple of shimmers. Only one of them was full of shimmery shades (Amazon). Have you tried one of the brand’s palettes before?
I think most of the mattes look ok (for mattes), but they will definitely look better over primer. IDK, at this price point, I’d rather pay a little more and get a Viseart Theory palette, but I like the Amazon palette has an interesting color theme, and I like the satin finish
I’m with you on this one. Amazon does intrigue. . . . .
I have not heard of his brand before- where are they sold? Wayyy too many mattes for me, but these are cute little palettes. Kind of pricy for only 5 shades, but in line with some other HE brands I guess- it’s just harder to swallow when the brand is unfamiliar.
Beautylish has them! 🙂
I hope these review well because a lot of UK/European vloggers seem to like this brands shadows.
I never heard of this brand before (it made me think of Lisa Eldridges tutorials for Lancôme: ‘Bonjour and welcome to the Lancôme makeup atelier’, hihihi). Amazon indeed looks interesting!
Honey Brown and Amazon look nice!
They look nice, especially since I prefer mattes! Do you know where they are made? I’m trying to not start purchasing (collecting) yet another brand, and if they happen to be made in China, it’ll be an easy pass.
I love Makeup Atelier Paris! So happy to see these on the blog. I have one of of their palettes (T12) and I love it. The formula is different than any of my other powder eyeshadows and I love that all of their palettes are magnetic and you can remove the pans easily! I’ve always wanted to buy more but I’ve wanted to do it in person because I really want to try some of their foundations and concealers.
Hope you don’t mind, but I just noticed you have the swatch pictures marked as Face Atelier, which is a different brand 🙂
I have to look into this, because I didn’t mark them as Face Atelier, which means the system has an error when I added them to the database. Hold on, will probably take longer than few seconds to fix.
I use their Waterproof Fluid Foundation and it’s my HG! Comes in a lot of shades, lasts forever and never looks cakey. Can’t comment on the concealers because the shades were all a tad too dark for me.
That Amazon palette looks so interesting and unique. The 2 left hand/mustardy shades wouldn’t be go-to’s for me, but still, I’d be willing to try them if I could easily get my hands on this palette. Some of the others look interesting too, though not special enough that I’d get excited about them. I think I first heard of Makeup Atelier quite a few years ago, either on Makeup Geek’s channel (long before she had her own line) or Wayne Goss’s. But for me, personally, unless stuff is available for me to see “in store”, I generally pass on it.
Price point aside, I really like the pink palette and appreciate matte pinks.
YAY – I have 2 of their palettes saved there on my Wish List 🙂 Great timing Christine!
I’m really liking Honey Brown and Amazon! Excited for your reviews on these quints, all in all, they seem promising.
I like the color selections, but the eyeshadows aren’t too impressive looking swatched.
That Honey Brown Palette looks amazing!
I think the best thing about these is how self instructive they are. You see the whole palette, and a few ways to put together looks spring to mind. Didn’t feel that way about the ND small palettes. These are kind of ‘automatic.’ Amazon is interesting and unusual. The mattes look fair to good-ish, but not ‘good,’ per se. It seems a couple per palette are not true to pan. Picky, picky. $7/per shadow seems fair enough. Guess they’re not on my wish list.
I appreciate there are nice mattes here, and am particularly liking the Honey Brown set, though I think I have dupes for all except #2. Decisions decisions.
Hmmmm never heard of this brand but the quality looks promising!
T18 is beautiful
I LOVE Makeup Atelier Paris’ Eyeshadow Palettes, I have at least 5 of them and love all. I think the shadows are buttery, well pigmented and easly bleneded. In my country (Brazil) most of renowned MUA’s use this brand and love their shadows even more than UD, mac and other popular brands, I guess here in Brazil Atelier Paris eyeshadow palettes are second only to MUFE eyeshadows (new ones).
Thanks for the review.
Wow! The Wood pink has my eye for sure! May I make a request Christine? Please include ingredients list and the country it’s made in the review.
I had an Atelier eye palette in the past. Not sure how I came to have it. Prob a GWP. I really liked it but my daughter also loved it. I gave it to her. They had four or six colors, most were swimmers ranging from cream to soft gold to muted brown. I always use primer with eyeshadow and often apply with a damp brush. For that reason, I can’t comment about how they acted without them. On me they lasted and were in my top eyeshadow drawer.
Now that I viewed the comments, I recall that the palette that I discussed was Face Atelier.
I do like these new palettes quite well too.
This looks interesting and I love the look of that Amazon palette…
I AM SO GLAD you are featuring this brand!!!
Wayne Goss introduced it to me and I have been dying to hear your take on the foundation.
Thanks for covering the shadows!
I recently discovered these on Beautylish and wondered how they perform. I suppose I’ll know soon enough! The Honey Brown palette is my favorite.
These look interesting!
I’m intrigued by Wook Pink’s color scheme but a couple of the colors look a little weak.
I think a lot of these are beautiful! I know the whole build a palette has been done but I wish these were mix and match because each one has at least one or two I wouldn’t use and with only 5 shadows, I couldn’t justify the spend.
Omg finally!!! This brand! Please tell. Me what stores sell these
None of these really strike me as must haves for me.
