The packaging is absolutely stunning but the shades look a little boring, especially in the lip products. I do love the Skin Finish though and I will attempt to get it (I am sure everyone wants it too,lol).
Yeah, the lip products all look way to sheer for my tastes.
They did a really good job with the packaging!
Ohhh I really love My Mimi! The two blushes look great too. The shadows are too dupable for me to justify, but they are pretty.

Neither do I. The packaging is gorgeous but the lippies are going to look good on very few people.

They nailed this collection! So Mariah Carey! I’m not a huge Mariah fan. But, this really reflects her style. I love it! I love all of it except I won’t be looking at picking up any of the lipsticks. Too nude and frosted. I wish they would of added a nude with a deeper base. Love the lip liner and those glosses!
Nicole, I recall seeing a 5th (or 4th?) lipstick that was a dark/deep nude in a bronzey brown? But perhaps they forgot to send it to Christine?
They sent me two of All I Want, and they said they would send me the missing shade, but with next week being a holiday week, no idea when I will receive!

I’ll probably just hit the store early and try that dark shade on in this case as they likely won’t get it to you in time.
Oh Nancy, thanks for the heads up! I really like the sparkly packaging and butterfly embossing on the lippies, but had given up all hope of getting one, as the pale frosty nude shades would give me instant zombie lips, but that shimmery brown shade looks perfect!!
The packaging is absolutely beautiful but i can see that the majority of products are very sparkly.Maybe it is because this collection is for the holidays. i am not a sparkle lover so money saved 🙂
The packaging is SO GORGEOUS but the colors couldn’t be less for me if they tried. What a disappointment. 🙁
This will be a great collection for the right person. Just like me not meeting a NARS brown or red I don’t like, the similarity in look will massively appeal to the right person. And it certainly channels Mariah’s style well. I don’t find it boring, but it is narrow note, and not my preference. Interesting that MAC was able to get some sparkle in a lip pencil…and it looks awesome… that Mr. Ford could not. Kind of shows that a shimmer pencil may not be dumb after all. It’ll go nicely with these shimmer lipsticks.
kjh, don’t give up hope! Nancy T. pointed out there’s a shimmery brown shade that’s missing from the swatches, they forgot to send to Christine. Knowing Mariah, it’s probably not a brown red, but a shimmery bronzey brown, but I can go for that!
The design on the bullets=lovely!, but this collection is falling into territory far too well represented in stash. I’m not big on cremesheen. The eyeshadows and blushes=been there done it. This will be a pass. Nice looking collection package wise and as a whole. Colour story wise, oh so similar to so many before.
I hope the blushes and lipstick live up to the hype! Really excited about those

I like the All I Want lipstick,My Mimi Extra-Dimension Skin Finish,and Little Miss Monroe(this one is my favorite)and It’s Just Like Honey lipglass
The lip shades all look the same. Disappointing that there is so little variation between them. The colors are way too pale.

I thought this collection would make a huge dent in my wallet, but after seeing these swatches, the only thing that’s calling me is My Mimi powder. The nude lipsticks will give me zombie lips, the glosses are too sheer for me (although I might cave and get one just for the packaging), and while some of the shadows are lovely, I have enough neutrals. But I love the packaging/embossing, and the bling and colors is definitely Mariah Carey.
Stunning packaging!!! I do have All I Want from last winter. Love it as a layering shade to give other lippies a bit of glow. There was also supposed to be a deeper, bronzey lipstick, no? I cannot recall its name, though. Pretty sure I’ll be getting that lip pencil, as that would look fab with All I Want! And Rainbow Interlude and Butterfly Bling look interesting, as well!
The lip pencils for sure. I have a new lipliner obession?. The highlighter maybe if I can justify it. Those lippies will make me look ashy unfournately. The lipglasses might work as toppers.
Not excited at all for the lipsticks although I do want to pick up at least one for collecting purposes…maybe MCizzle since it kind of reminds me of one of my fav everyday lipsticks (YSL Nude Beige). But the lipglasses are actually surprising me, I kind of want them all! The gay in me really wants Rainbow Interlude lol. But for $18.50…I might get one at the most. Tbh I probably will just hope one day these come on sale as well and buy them then lol. Other than that I’m just getting a lipstick and possibly the coral blush if it’s not too red!
What’s the packaging like? Is it glitter glued to it? Or is it printed paper to look like glitter or something else? I haven’t really heard anyone say yet and I’m super curious! I hope it;s actually sparkly and not just a print.
It looks like glitter and is sparkly, but they’ve coated it so it feels completely smooth.
Similar to the lids for the troll collection glosses then?

Not the most exciting color range to me, although I did buy All I Want on its original release and ended up loving it. Butterfly Bling is really pretty. The packaging and embossing are beautiful.
I see this as a bad news-good news. The packaging is fun but the shades are yaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwnnnnn! Other than Mimi, I feel that everything is easily dupable. Mimi, is also probably dupable but, I’m going for it just for the cute factor! I’d love to get the body powder but my smarter self tells me I probably wouldn’t use it. I definitely do not need more nudes, especially ones that aren’t really special. So, bad news is I give this collection a thumbs down, good news is I save money (at least on this collection).
I’m with the majority here. The lip shades, even the missing ones, won’t work on me. I am going to pass on the beautiful powder and blushes as I have 4 lifetime’s worth. If one of those eyeshadow quads is warm and rates half decently, I’ll probably splurge. I’m a sucker for MAC quads and nines. They are so great for pulling together a quick look.
Same – I have a weakness for the quads and the nines.
I like the first lipstick, the first lip pencil, the lipglasses and the face and eye products. That said, I probably have similar colors in all.
I might get one of the lipsticks, All I Want and maybe the lip pencil. Touch My Body might be interesting, but I don’t know how to ask the SA for it 🙂

I think I will buy a lot of this Collection just because of the packaging. The colours are nice, too, I like the glosses although I do not like glosses with too much glitter very much. I am very interested in the detailed review.
Lipstick colours remind me of both cinderella and ellie goulding collections. I may get something for the packaging, but considering the likely price when they “mark them up” for the aussie market, it might be one i wait for
I’m seeing more that intrigues me here than I thought I would… All I Want, both blushes (although there’s a good chance Sweet Fantasy would not look that great on my cheeks), the eyeshadow I’d Give My All (although I’m not that crazy about the other colors in the quad).
It’s very Mariah, but not me at all! Too light and ‘beige’ for me. So glad I don’t see anything I fancy from this collection at all lol!
Packaging looks great but nowadays I’m looking for quality over pretty packaging and this seems to lack in quality, pigmentation , and color payoff.

This collection is so “Carey like Mariah” lol. These are all the colors she wears. I am a die hard mariah fan and a mac collector. So this is a match made in heaven for me.

Wow everything looked so beautiful and I was so ready to buy both palettes, a couple of the lipsticks, one blush and the skinfinish, but after seeing this what a disappointment. That skinfinish looks too chunky. I might just but “It’s Everthing” since it does have beautiful taupes. Other than that, no thanks. Thanks for saving me money.
