Hopefully! I don’t have a lot of luck with Cremesheens, though 🙁
It’s interesting because the swatches seem semi-sheer but then on the lips they seem opaque. Going by the swatches, they look like they have more of a Lustre finish, but maybe it’s because of the pearl mixed in? Are these part of the new Cremesheen Pearls that came out? I’m getting confused and MAC needs to slow down, dangit.
Anyway, I’m eyeing Pillow Talk and Heaux and/or Quelle Surprise. Depending on the rating and how hydrating or at least non-drying they are, I may be heading down to the MAC counter very soon for swatching and buying.
These are part of Veluxe-a-Trois, so they are separate from the Cremesheen Pearl launch.
Quelle Surprise is really pretty. I can’t wait for the review.

These are so interesting and beautiful! I love how most have a shimmer or luminescent finish instead of either matte or Lustre formulas for a change. Love how Quelle Surprise, Heaux and Royally Riotous look applied. Seems like each has a contrasting pearl, most noticeable with Royally Riotous. Anxiously awaiting your verdict on these!
I just wish the Cremesheen formula lasted better/was less drying! Here’s hoping these are better, though 🙂
I guess I’m pretty lucky that the Cremesheen formula doesn’t dry out my lips, but I do find that they need re-application at roughly 3 hours, give or take. If I’m not mistaken, I saw on MAC’s website that Royally Riotous is an Amplified? Which would make it a definite “yes” for me!
I’ll have to double check the finish on that one!

Yes is an amplified!! I’ve ordered from the website, cause in Italy is online exclusive…can’t wait to receive it…on my account they said shipped, i’m waiting for tracking number… But YES it is amplified….while pillow talk is creemsheen… 🙂

The uniform dots on the Pillow Talk lipstick make me wonder what the manufacturing process for this is like haha. The first one reminds me of Givenchy’s Couture Edition lipstick!

I LOVE the colors of Flowerscope, Heaux, and Quelle Surprise, but I hate the Cremesheen formula. Why, MAC, why? I’ll just have to wait for dupes (chances are I have some already, at least for Heaux and Quelle Surprise).
I don’t know why they’ve put out like 20 Cremesheens in two weeks, LOL.
Wow. They are all lighter than I thought. Royally Riotous is the most opaque one. Is it me or almost all of them have little specks of glitters? I don’t like glitters. 🙁 and Heaux is lighter than the RiRi Heaux.
They are Cremesheen, which can have a very slight shimmer/sheen to them.
Hi I have a question about pillow talk lipstick. I wear NC45 mac foundation and I wanted to know if that would be a good color for me?
It could be, but you may find it too light!

I have Pillow Talk from a previous collection and if it’s the same one, I think it’s a perfect nude beige for brown girls. I would use a liner with it or you will look washed out. I am NC50 for reference. Hope that helps!

Pretty colours, but I don’t like these as much as the Estee Lauder ones. These look a little too sheer for me.
Just FYI, I ordered Heaux and both the box and the tube say it is an Amplified finish I tried asking MAC (the website says it’s a creamsheen) they insisted it was a creamsheen…maybe someone can get a straight answer out of them!
Every MAC Lipstick I have ever wanted has sold out. True story. That said, I’ve got my eye on Pillow Talk!
It was really difficult picking out colors without your guidance and swatches. I’ve been so dependant on you for color choices. Makes me appreciate you even more. I went with royally rioutous & quelle surprise they are really nice. Very creamy & pigmented.

I really like the three firs ones a lot. And the last one, Royally Rioteous. The two more neutral ones aren’t for me. Colours like that makes me look like a dead zombie 🙂

Is it just me or did MAC raise their prices again super recently?? I’ve been stalking which lipstick to pick up next and I noticed that all the permanent colors are now $17 not $16. The Veluxe-a-Trois are still $16 but all the permanents are higher now… :/
