MAC Mischief Minx MAC Girls Personality Palette

MAC Mischief Minx Eyeshadow Palette is one of six “Personality Palettes” the brand is releasing for the MAC Girls collection, which officially debuts today online and at select MAC stores. I’ll be sharing sneak peek swatches of all six palettes with one per post to keep everything organized. Each palette has eight eyeshadows and a highlighter, and it seems like the formula is new as the finishes are listed as Satin Shine, Smooth Pearl, Foiled Shadow, and Creamy Matte. This seems like your warmer-toned neutral palette with a stronger orange undertone running through it.

Light Medium, Yellow undertones. Normal-to-Dry skin.

I’m not usually as sold when it comes to MAC palettes – they tend to be fairly hit or miss. Some of the colours were surprisingly very pigmented but I’d be curious to see the full review and swatches of each shade!

These are looking like generally strong contenders, with the expected weaknesses. The overall quality is better than I expected. Mattes look weaker in this one. The color schemes/ stories cover the territory in this multipalette offering. Didn’t know these would be Mac as well as Ulta. May not indulge, but might, if I need to add to the Mac dupes to the palette that shall not be named.

Well this one seems to be the best one by far from looking at your swatches, and not so coincidentally, these colors have been around in one million palettes by now. Just wondering Chrisitne, if I was going to choose between this and Marc Jacobs Scandalust, what do you think? Maybe too soon to ask though as you may not have tested this yet. Thanks for putting up all the swatches though!! Really appreciate how fast you did that!!

Medium, Olive, neutral undertones. Combination skin.

Even though I likely have dupes for many of the shades in this palette, I would absolutely love to have this as an *almost* all in one look on the fly. The shimmer/ metallic shades here look Divine, and that gorgeous red-plum matte has my name on it!

I surprisingly don’t own any of the popular warm toned palettes yet and this one is mighty tempting…. I know I have a handful of warm singles, but this palette seems handy as an all-in-one (and mmm those Ulta points!)

Very Light, Neutral, slight yellow undertones. Combination skin.

This is the most interesting one, so far. I probably have dupes, but then I can use this as inspiration. I might even buy this, if I don’t have dupes for almost all of the colours.

Very Deep, Neutral, slight pink undertones. Normal-to-Dry skin.

A couple shades seem to be a miss but this one doesn’t look too bad. I actually like it! Part of me kinda wants it. I can’t get enough of the packaging. It’s so cute! The colors are seriously dupable though. Especially right now. Quality doesn’t really seem to match the price tag
