This past week, there were new shades added to the MAC Liptensity Lipstick ($21.00 for 0.12 oz.) range (along with repromotes, which I’ve swatched in the past), and here are swatches of those shades:

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Clouds In My Coffee!!! OMG, that’s from a very old Carly Simon song “You’re So Vain”! Probably to light, but I don’t care. I’m going to try it on anyhow! (Probably buy it, too! LOL)

Okay, so there’s 4-5 that I’m really loving here. Obvs, Clouds In My Coffee. Also, Well Bred Brown, Fire Roasted, Brick Dust and Beetroot.

I really like these lipstcks and have six. Going to get 2 or 3 more though, because everyone needs to have to look through a gazillian lipsticks before deciding which one to wear, right? ?

Tne Nicki Minoj Nudes were very disappointing, tioo yellow or too dead!! Returned the thrree I bought based on ther online swatches and exchanged for Cherish, a pechy beiige that is still a little dull but can be brightened with ip pencil and gloss. Loved the Beaux gloss, so I can thank the collection for that find. Hopefully , the warm tones in this collection will be better suited to more skintones. I alreadty own Toast and Butter from the original release. It is described as a peachy cinnamin, as is MAC’s Touch, Ianother favorite of mine that looks dark but is very sheer, not peachy cinnamin though, more purple brown, but very flattering on me when wearing cooler colors) but it is actually a very dark rose brown as well. When applied with a brush or fingerttips, it lightens up , and a dollop of the gold lipgloss from the Sharon Osbourn line (if anyone knows of a dupe for that I would be eternally grateful) makes it perfect. These will undoubtably be just as pigmented, but since there are lighter browns available, application shoudl be much easier. I would love to try Clouds in My Coffee and Well Bred Brown for my very f air auburn haired complexion. If it is in the right family, MAC’s lip pencil in Hover turns almost any peachy or light brown color into the perfect color for me. It is too dark to wear all over my liips, but when applied around the lips in usual lip pencil fashion, and then pursing the lips and rubbing it in a little, it blends with the color on my lips and gives it that caramelly glow! Hope it works with these if necessary. Just one question, why do they not fashion these like regular lipsticks with a slanted tip? I know direct application gives a ery heavy look, but having to have a lip brush available at all times is unreasonaable, and using fingers to touch up can be very messy. Won’t stop me from burying the perfect color, but just curious.

It’s got to be the olive undertones. They neutralize your lip color and allow the lipstick to show up closer to its expected shade. My lips are very pink, so they add a pink tinge to any color I wear! That’s why I look for peachy browns, because pinky browns can appear quite cool and vampire like on me. I’ve given away lipsticks that I thought were red or purpley, and the recipients complained that they were too brown! So, as with all makeup colors, they are a very personal choice. Luckily, we have gazillions of choices at our disposal! I love the way Touch looks on me, don’t get me wrong, but it is not a peachy brown on me!

The great thing about LIPTENSITY is that there is not undertone or overtone. The color you see is pure color and wonderful change on your lip. These lipsticks do slant as well the picture doesn’t indicate that but they are easy to apply.
Enjoy!!!

Sorry for all the typos. My family was watching TV and talking to me while I was typing a very long comment. Will try to keep them shorter. Thanks for the responses. If anyone knows of a dupe to the Sharon Osbourne lipgloss “Pussywillow”, It is my favorite for lightening a color, or giving a dab of gloss to the center of the lip. Thanks!!
