MAC Flamingo Park Collection
MAC Flamingo Park Collection launches January 28th online and hits stores/counters on February 4th. It’s a large collection with a strong emphasis on pinks. Well that was quick. 😉 I was just reading the release and thought some of the lip colors looked fun. I like the looks of Be Silly, Flocking Fabulous (ha), and Have Your Cake. I must be ready for spring/summer!
MAC has been really good about sending samples ahead of the launch date in the last two years 🙂 We are very lucky!

Haha, I did the same when I was photographing – I take photos of the label before I take the photos of the product (so I don’t get messed up when I label the files), and I was like, “Silly twice? But this is a different color… oh.”
I love that this collection has so many cool-toned products! The lipstick swatches look promising and the glosses, well… never interested me. If I ever wanted a glittery pink lipgloss I would choose a Sephora one instead.

Boo on the Cremesheen…I’m thinking your review isn’t going to be too favorable based on the swatches. A few of the lipsticks look promising though. Hasn’t Saint Germain already been released? I feel like I had this shade from MAC in a lipstick and a nail polish.
I don’t think Cremesheen Glass is a great formula on its own, unfortunately – too milky. Saint Germain is part of the permanent range. Check the press release post for what’s LE/P! 🙂
At least I wasn’t hallucinating shade names! I’m going to wait and see how your reviews pan out on these since *says it again* I really don’t need any more lipsticks. 😉
I’m really hoping Flocking Fabulous (I love that name!!) and Nice To Meet You are the corals of my dreams! I’m really missing a good coral lipstick that will work on me, most seem far too bright :/

I was surprised at the brightness for a January launch, but I’m not complaining!
Oh, no. I just went through my stash and got rid of lip products that were not the right color for me. I still have so many left, but here they are, presenting me with a whole new array of pinks…and glosses with cool-toned glitter…
It is nice to see a mix of warm and cool tones and different finishes!

The lipstick swatches look great!!I particularly like The Fashion Flock,Long Legged And Fabulous,Flocking Fabulous,and Please Me in that order with The Fashion Flock being my favorite!I have Silly.The Creamsheen Glasses aren’t something a have the desire to purchase again,I have several and I really hardly ever use them.
These seem to be the types of shades/finishes MAC does well so high hopes!

I like the color of several of these, especially Be Silly and Have Your Cake. Nice, bright, cool pinks, of course I like them, lol. Nice To Meet You and Flocking Fabulous look interesting, too. I’m hoping that MAC did a good job with these, and that it won’t be the kind of LE release that you can’t actually see at local counters and sells out before you can decide whether or not to purchase! I never set my heart on a MAC LE release any more. Not since the Brooke Shields palette that very few people were able to actually purchase.
It’ll be interesting to see if this one sells quickly or not.

Flocking Fabulous! I don’t know why, usually I don’t go for colors like this. But something about that shade is just very appealing to me. I think because it’s a coral color that isn’t too orange. Can’t wait for the full review!

I’m a big fan of the Cremesheen Glass formula but the shades in this collection are really not very exciting, and they all seem to settle into lip lines 🙁
Some of the lipsticks look pretty good though!
Which Cremesheen Glasses do you like most in general? I think the majority settle into lip lines for me 🙁
I like all the lipsticks and sparkly glosses. Be Silly, Have Your Cake, and Playful Petal are my favorites. I also like Flocking Fabulous. It def gets the award for best name in the collection.

if manufacturers of our cosmetics really listened to us (the ones who $$$ support them!) then they wouldn’t be so quick to always discontinue our absolute favorite items so quickly!!! I think they listen to a handful of complaints and wants only and don’t really care much about what we want.

Christine, I first off have to say your posts are absolutely (flocking) fabulous and I always look forward to them! This is going to be a little off topic and let me know if there is a way I can message you without having to leave a comment for everyone to see… Every since Mac released their LE collection last July that included Bianca B lipstick, I have been heartbroken over that lipstick. I never got my hands on it and it is the only LE lipstick of theirs I really regret not jumping the gun on… I looked at your dupe list but their are only 3 lipsticks that aren’t as light as Bianca B… I was wondering if you have came across anything else that is so pink it is almost white? I have been on a quest to find that perfect pale pink but SO pale it’s practically white and I am not having any luck. Any sort of reply would be greatly appreciated.
