Sneak Peek: L'Oreal Colour Riche Mono Eyeshadows Photos & Swatches
L’Oreal Colour Riche Mono Eyeshadow ($5.99 for 0.12 oz.) debuted a couple of months ago in 15 shades. Somehow, I’m missing one, which I’ll pick up in my next Ulta order, but here are swatches of 14 of them 🙂

I really wanted to love these but the four neutral colors I tried all creased on me with a primer. :*(
Which shades? I’ve surprising had very little trouble with the 10 I could get in Canada (some shades are sheer).
Green Promenade and Pain Au Chocolat look really nice and I was thinking that the grey might be a nice, inexpensive alternative to something like MAC Print and then I’m like “DUH….these probably cost MORE than the MAC Pro Pans now”. That teal colour is really nice too and I’ll probably cave for Green Promenade….I am sooooo weak!
Can’t wait to see your reviews on these! I’m up to 4 of these now–the black, gray, pink, and Pain au Chocolate. I personally find the mattes to be INCREDIBLE. Richly pigmented, smooth, buttery, and very blendable. They also wear like iron on me.
What a coincidence that I picked up several yesterday and was searching on Temptalia to add them to my vanity! I love these and am so excited to hear your thoughts!
Ooooh, thanks so much for reviewing these!! I’m so curious, as reviews seem to be all over the board on these. The super light matte shades look kind of dry, but most of these are looking quite decent for DS shadow, and very affordable, esp. with BOGO 50% off. I’m eyeing Meet Me in Paris (hard to find a decent matte gray), Green Promenade (love chameleon colors!), Teal (don’t think I have a portable version in my stash) , Blue (love the luminous finish), and although I probably have dupes in my stash, Pain Au Chocolate and and Quartz Fume are still very pretty.
I bought a few late last year. Quartz fume is wonderful.
I hadn’t heard of these before! Really liking Grand Bleu.
Now that MAC Pro Pans are a mere $6, and having just been gifted the most amazing palette of shimmer/ metallic eye-shadows , I think I can skip these…maybe? Some of these mattes look quite richly pigmented, though!
Hey these look suprisingly nice! Café au lait is much darker in the pan then on skin, but it seems like a good transition colour. I loooove Pain au chocolat, obviously. 🙂
I’m curious to hear what you’ll think of these, Christine. It seems like people love them or hate them.
I see some promising swatches here. Can’t wait to read your reviews!
I’m pleasantly surprised by the swatches! Most of them look better than I would have guessed, can’t wait to see reviews.
These swatched way better than expected. Drugstore shadows have come a loooong way. Keeping an eye on the mattes, pain au chocolat and the teal. I know Mac singles are cheaper now, but l’oreal is easier for me to just grab around here if I need instant gratification.
These look pretty lovely – especially the Green Promenade and the Teal Culture. The Quartz Fume was lovely too. I guess I just liked the shimmers. But even the matte colours were pretty good, seeing as many expensive HE brands don’t get them right. I will be interested in reading your reviews on these Christine.
These look pretty good for drugstore eyeshadows! Meet me in Paris looks to be a good one to get, it’s an unusual shade and not easily duped. Mac haven’t dropped their prices here in the UK as of yet so will keep an eye out for this after my no-buy.
Most of these look alright! Green Promenade and Sunset Steine stand out for me color-wise.
I love green promenade. I just may have to pick up cafe au lait!
I’m looking forward to your thoughts. My personal pick would Pan Au Chocolate because it would be great as wash or lid shade.
