Laura’s Leading Ladies ($298.00 for 2.05 oz.) includes 15 full-sized lip products–five glosses, 10 lipsticks. There are five shades, which are then repeated across the Lip Glace, Creme Smooth Lip Colour, and Velour Lovers Lip Colour formulas. It’s a real whopper of a holiday mega set! The shades are held in a large, glossy jewelry box, and each of the velvet containers that hold the lipsticks are removable.

The brand also has three Iconic Leading Lady Lip Duos, which feature a Velour Lovers Lip Colour and Lip Glace set, that include shades featured below (Catherine, Sophia, and Vivien) — I wish they had more of these shades available individually or in smaller sets, though!

OH this is beautiful!! I have gotten deluxe samples of Laura’s lipstick and of the gloss. I must say that mini gloss has been my go-to gloss. The lipstick is great too. I keep the gloss in my bag and when I go to the gym I put it in my sports bra in between the girls (TMI lol sorry) but it’s really great formula and although the gloss is sheer, it’s pigmented enough to show up on me.

While I can’t afford the entire set and I want it, I can get the $38 duo. It is well worth it.

Wow, great timing…I was just looking at the Vivien Duo on Neiman Marcus since they’re doing a Beauty Event. I sent an email to the LM Rep and she indicated Vivien was a pink-red that wasn’t too bold but bold enough you know it’s red. Hmmmmm, I mean what exactly is that?! I can definitely see the pink tones in your swatches. I think I may wait to see how these do for you.

I’m not sure how I feel about most of the colors being pink tinted, but they look like they lay beautifully on the lips. I love Laura Mercier but these were a slight miss for me.

Hey, Christine! Don’t know if it’s my browser’s cookies or something, but it looks like you have five of the lipsticks listed twice in the swatch image summary at the top and five don’t appear at all.

At this price and this many items, it’s a non-starter for me; I just don’t need that many lipsticks/glosses. Vivian gloss and one of the Joanne’s, maybe as singles, since I’ve never tried this brand’s lipsticks or glosses and I like the colors. But I feel the same “maybe” with most brands’ releases these days; it’s a bit overwhelming.

I really like the Sophia velour lovers lipstick, but it looks like it has a slight mauve tone to it? I’ve been really shy about wearing mauve colors on my lips ever since the Nars Anna fiasco (my lips but deader). I wish I could tell if it would look good.

LOL! I love that expression “my lips but deader!” A lot of light mauve pinks make me look dead, but nothing beats a good grayish lavender like MAC Plum Princess. My lips looked like meat that had gone bad in the fridge, just add a toe tag, and I would look right at home in a morgue!

I do too! I just heard it for the first time the other day and it pretty much made my morning. Lol! That does look like a very dead color. I don’t think very many people could pull that off without looking exactly the way you described.

Holy bloody lip overload! Looking good, but, thank god, don’t immediately crave any. Pink leaning isn’t my thing. One offering I don’t have to run out and swatch….esp since you’re so ahead of the curve that the SAs aren’t even informed yet…… But LM does pretty decent lip products……

I loooooove Laura Mercier BUT…I dont understand why to sell this “kit” and who’s gonna want to buy it?? I dont know how to explain, but its like “weird” to think that’s an expected product that makeup addicts want to buy.
If the color was limited edition ok…
If the colors will be different not all the same in the kit ok…
but now… I really dont understand? who want to spend in one time 300$ for this kit who are absolutely not attractive??? The same colors in 3 differents textures…ok but nothing surprising or exciting!
If there will be for example all the color that you need to have (like a nude, pink, red, burgundy, coral) ok…
If there will be 3 differents textures with for all differents shades ok…
But now,I really dont understand…
Im really dissapointed by Laura Mercier for this “bad deal” even if i have lipstick, matte lipstick and also their liquid lipstick (who are amazing by the way) from LM,at this time its a big “joke” for me…
Please if someone are happy with this kit,and ready to spend 300$,can you explain me why? I need to understand,in advance thank you 😉

The same five colors as lipstick and gloss might be okay, but gloss and two different finishes of the same colors…? Um.

If they’d done it as two sets — one with each of the lipstick finishes — these would maybe find a much larger audience. Get a gloss; pick your desired lipstick finish. I mean, this is a lot of money for five lip colors.

A bit rich for my blood coming in at roughly $300. And the shades just seem too samey-samey to me. So those 2 factors make this a clear nay. The duos, on the other hand, could be a nice treat depending on how well they review, also, whether I already have dupes.

This does not help my addiction. Wore her Dulce de Leche all day today and was reminded of how much I enjoy the feeling Laura Mercier lipsticks. I’m a goner with Joanne and Vivien.

I like Sophia Velour Lovers, but the color doesn’t interest me much for fall/winter. Agree that it would be nice if more products were offered as duos or individually. There is not a chance that I’ll buy the entire set. ?

Uh, I’m not feeling or understanding this at all. First, I already have a long wishlist of lippies from BITE, MUFE, UD, NARS, and for $300, I’d rather be able to pick and choose from different colors, finishes, and brands. And none of the colors really work for me here–the first 3 glosses are so sheer, they will look the same on my lips, and the rest are pinks or pinky reds that are very hard for me to pull off. And why have 5 similar shades repeat itself using 3 different formulas? It’s like you’re buying dupes of dupes. If you have a matte lipstick and want a glossier finish, you can save money by just adding a clear lip balm from DS for like 99 cents!

Buying a whole $300 kit seems a bit expensive and overwhelming, but I do like the idea of the lip duos. More shades in smaller sets definitely would have been better, though, imo.

Well I love Laura Mercier and I loved this collection. I got it on sale $225 and it is so worth it. You work hard to play hard. This was a special treat and I absolutely adore this set. I was glad that I got it and I have no regrets I’m in love with all colors and different formulas. The picture does no justice the colors are gorgeous. Happy 20th year anniversary great collaboration. ??❤️
