Sneak Peek: Laura Mercier Fall In Love Face Illuminator Palette Photos & Swatches

Laura Mercier Fall In Love Face Illuminator Palette ($58.00 for 0.44 oz.) includes four, miniature-sized versions of the permanent Face Illuminators. It’s pretty neat, as they have the same swirled, raised design, but everything is on a smaller scale. I’ve reviewed all four shades previously, but sometimes quality and shades can vary when put into a set, so I picked it up when it launched to see how it would go. I still have to test these for wear, but the good news is that the colors and textures are consistent with the full-sized invididual shades I have!

Bigger than standard eyeshadow, smaller than a blush. The spacing makes them workable, though, because you can get your brush in it without touching another shade without a problem.

I’d say no issues at all if you’re actually using a highlighter brush, which are often thinner and more tapered than blush brushes.

Would you call these glittery? I’m on the fence about buying this. I have no highlighters and this palette looks beautiful, but would be really dissappointed if th finish turned out to be too unnatural. ?

I’ve been pining for these highlighters since they came out and now I don’t have to decide which ones to get! I got mine two days ago and am happy with the mini sized ones given I’ve got lots of Becca highlighters as well. These will last me a looong time 🙂

The Sephora comments so far are quite skewed. Disregarding dislike of color, which is personal taste and not a reason to down vote, imo, there are texture and packaging complaints. On the other hand, there are also raves. US mfgd? Idk. Maybe not all have been created equal. Color-wise, I love 3 of the 4. The gold might be like the gold Taraji we got by accident…. A def maybe! These actually look dark enough to be high lit blush, rather than straight highlighter. Calling it Illuminator was a good call, bec it could go either way, depending on your tones. Nice.

Girl you are workin’ HARD getting some important sneak peaks and reviews out! I’m tired just thinking about how fast companies start pumping out products in Sept/Oct. I love it! HAHAHA These look REALLY pretty. I don’t remember being wowed by the singles, but this is appealing….

I already have full size in Addiction (love!) and don’t like/need the other colors, so won’t be getting this, but glad to hear the quality seems same as the full size. Hope the pans are big enough to get a brush in there

This has been my favorite highlight set so far for the holidays. Absolutely gorgeous! I have several highlighters and bronzers already, but I need this in my life.

I’m an NC30-35 with olive/gold undertones and the bronze shade was not super pigmented when I put it on. I didn’t feel that it was dark at all and used it to subtly contour and the golden and beige to highlight. I even built it up a little. As for usage as an eye product, I always do that with my highlighters or bronzers – great substitute for brown shadow when travelling or when I need a clean look for meetings. I like to use highlighters as shadows because they can be dialed down on the shimmer factor (depending on the particles) and are great to use when I don’t want to use a product with as much pigment as an eye shadow.

Yep. Now I need another Laura Mercier highlighter- I have either seduction or indiscretion , can’t remember right now. Idk if it would be better for me to try to get this or to just get the full size edition. Hmmm. I’m not in love with the pale pink for me. I’ll have to keep researching
