Sneak Peek: Laura Mercier Art of Colour Eye & Cheek Palette Photos & Swatches
Laura Mercier Art of Colour Eye & Cheek Palette
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen my haul of Nordstrom Anniversary Sale beauty exclusives, which I photographed for the most part, but I still have a whole palette to swatch and then almost all of it still to test, so it’s going to be a bit. That leads me to: sneak peeks! The first I have ready to share with you is Laura Mercier Art of Colour Eye & Cheek Palette ($79.00), which includes eight eyeshadows and one blush, plus a mascara. I wish they had skipped the mascara and gone with a lower price.

Not a lot of color for something named art of color.
It seems like the beauty bloggers are going towards Instagram. This one that shows a lot of Japanese makeup just close her account completely and kept her Instagram account. I like seeing a full article.
OMG, that African Violet Shade is stunning and unique – must have it !! So glad it’s sold as single because I don’t need the entire palette. And Pink Haze is so pretty, will be looking for your dupes. Also like Gunmetal
Not sure about the quality of the blush and a couple of the shadows, but I’m interested in this!
I really liked the look of African Violet in the artist palette (which I never got) so it’s a definite plus to have it here.
I think I’d rather have the Artist!
I like the look of this a lot. I’m really looking forward to the reviews.
Unfortunately it is a bit expensive, or maybe not, but unless it gets good grades, I’d not try to get it.
I do love the look of African Violet and Pink Haze.
This is quite pretty! I’m glad to see they included some other colors with the browns. African Violet is such a great shade, I’m very happy to see it in this collection. The blush is gorgeous.
Oooooh African Violet is sooooo pretty!! Not worth the $85 bucks tho…
I’ve nvr seen her signature before, but how on earth is that an “M”?? Lmao
It’s sold as a single for $24, too.
Oooh no, I didn’t know that. Thank you! Idk if I’ll get it though.. I was looking through the dupes & I have Bordello, but I need to dig it out & see how close it actually is.. I remember it being very glittery/fallout-y, & not quite as ‘duochrome-looking’ as African Violet. I love that gold tone.
Idk about you, but I have a habit of going after the same colors/shades over & over again lol.. I’d be screwed w/out Temptalia! Thanks again! 🙂
Ha! I have the same problem. I also check out the dupes, but sometimes having dupe doesn’t stop me. lol
Ha! I hear that! Especially if they’re more pigmented or a different finish!
I really could have done without the blush as well. Oh well. Maybe this is the year that I get an artists palette from her. I really want to try her eyeshadows
Thank you for putting these sneak peaks up! I enjoy seeing what the different brands will be offering this fall. With this one, I am loving the eyeshadows, the blush looks like it may be finicky though, going by the swatches, but looks great on your cheeks. Not sure what to make of it. Excited to hear more in the future!
The palette colors do strike my fancy, but I doubt I’ll spring for it at this price.
I wonder how much of a difference leaving off the extraneous mascara would have made?
The blush is beautiful on you. Are any of the eyeshadow shades new or exclusive to this palette? I recognize most of the names. And the design of it is very familiar.
In years past, I remember many of the Nord Anniv Beauty Exclusive sets, (from BB and LM, for example), contained at least one new shade or product from the upcoming fall campaign, along with a few best selling shades or products. It made for a nice “mini preview” of the upcoming season. The exclusives in last year’s and this year’s catalogs are definitely lacking that, and as a result, do not interest me at all! I mean, come on Bobbi Brown. Another nude shadow palette ? (#200 I think) Yawwwwnnn!
Love that Gunmetal colour – such a beautiful grey. And the blush looks lovely too – it really suits you Christine.
Looks like a nice palette. That blush is beautiful on you!
Now this is my kind of palette!! I would live to give this a try. Now I have 2 items on my wish list based on your posts. Thank you for bringing us the latest and greatest, as always!’
Going to pass on this one especially because I can almost guarantee that mascara will not work on me.
all colors look nice buff I personally would never buy palette w blush and eyeshadows together bc the powder always get all over each other, plus this isn’t really space saving in my opinion
I like the Bellini blush, but nothing else in this palette is really calling out to me.
That blush looks atrocious (not on you, but in the swatch).
Love Laura Mercier. I use a fair amount of her products. Like the colors but similar to others I already have.
