Sneak Peek: Dandy Lions Purple Eyeshadow Swatches

Dandy Lions Eyeshadows are numerous, and I’m still working my way through photographing/swatching a few more color families, but I finally finished editing all the photos for various purple hues in both matte and shimmer finishes. Enjoy these swatches while I work on testing the shades!

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I had purchased some matte shadows from Dandy Lions and they were very powdery and dry. There was a TON of fallout and the pigmentation wasn’t great at all. The ones I bought were in the yellow/ orange color family. I wouldn’t recommend the mattes. I haven’t tried the others.

That’s really noticeable in the larger photos for the mattes. My ‘fave row’ from banshee through brewess looks pretty grim. Yet malicious, dream eater, Al ghoul, and black fire look pretty decent. It seems as if the mattes don’t hold a candle next to Sydney Grace.

I sooo like purple color schemes, but am never satisfied. They look too blue (cool toned) and watercolor-like. I can’t quite put my finger on it. That said, of the bunch I like (or could use in my eye looks) : Rosa, Primrose, definitely Wishful Thinking (fav of the bunch), Iris, Daedra, Starbloom (very nice!), Mana, and Blackfire (interesting!)
