Sneak Peek: ColourPop Super Shock Pressed Pigments Photos & Swatches

ColourPop Fantasy Super Shock Pressed Pigments

Here’s a sneak peek look at ColourPop Super Shock Pressed Pigments ($5.00 for 0.07 oz.), which are all shades that aren’t safe for use on the eyes (likely due to the neon dyes). The formula feels the same as the Sugar Shock Eyeshadows, but I wanted to separate them out.

I recently learned about Colour Pop’s eyeshadows and lippie sticks. I purchased 12 eyeshadows and 5 lippie sticks a day ago. The colors seem unreal!!!

Hey Christine :-). It was sooo difficult choosing the eyeshadows. I decided to purchase the Megan Naik collection because the colors are just gorgeous. That can be said about all of the colors, though…lol. I also purchased I Heart This, Hammered, So Quiche, Ibiza, Rex, Cricket, Envy, and Liberty. I’ll be purchasing more in a few days. I think I’m addicted…lol.

I was confused for a moment. I thought their eyeshadows weren’t safe for the eyes…lol. The pressed pigments aren’t safe for the eye areas, like UD. I think I need more sleep :-/.

Hi Dian,
i actually use them on my eyes all the time…never had a problem, but i am not allergic or in any way sensitive. The dyes used are not FDA approved (in the USA). I am from Germany and over there those certain dyes are not rated unsafe. It’s all about how you look at it. If you are very sensitive or have easily irritated skin and eyes, don’t try it 😉

Now I really need them all…. They’re a wee bit addicting given their price of $5 each. These swatches REALLY show their detail. Love it!

Hmm, so these can’t be used on the eyes. I guess some of the red/pink/orange shades can be used as blushes if you don’t mind lots of sparkle, but how do you wear the blue/green/yellow ones ?

I have Slave2Pink, Fantasy, Erotic and Dare out of this batch. I just love how ultra-bright they are. I go ahead and use them on my eyes with no problems, and I do have sensitive eyes, for what that’s worth. I use a sponge-tip applicator or flat synthetic brush to put them on thick and vibrant. I use a fluffy brush if I want them more sheer. So versatile and fun.

Their lippies are wonderful, too.

These are sooo pretty! What an awful shame that they are NOT safe for use as eyeshadows, eh? Although…I would use the UD Electric palette shades of Jilted and Urban as eyeshadows anyways because it’s just too tempting not to!

I’ve been seeing so many people rave about these on Youtube, but I didn’t know if I could really trust those reviews because I thought that they could be bias since a few of them get commission out of the sales. The only place that has reviews I trust is Temptalia! xD

Ohhhh boy, Animal and Erotic are sooooo pretty. I never wear shades like that on my eyes though… Do you think these would be workable as blushes or would they be too clowny? Lol. I’m glad you’re reviewing this brand; I bought 9 of their lipsticks when I first heard of them and I love them so much!
