Sneak Peek: Bite Beauty Multisticks Photos & Swatches
Bite Beauty Multisticks
Bite Beauty Multistick ($24.00 for 0.17 oz.) is a cream formula that is supposed to apply like a cream but wear like a powder that can be used on eyes, lips, and cheeks. It is available in 18 shades, and I have 16 that I can share with you. I had issues with my online order (of which I ordered all 18!), but fortunately, I was able to get 16 at a store within an hour of me locally. I ordered the missing two (Cashew and Praline) online, so hopefully I can add those swatches early next week. You can click on any of the shades below for more photos/swatches, or else they’ll be included in full reviews as I work through testing them.
Some initial thoughts: I haven’t yet discovered a way to use these on the eyes without creasing within 30 minutes of wear. They typically crease within a few minutes (it’s like they never dry down completely), and even if I patted and smoothed the color back out again, it would just crease again. They crease over primer, too (Urban Decay Primer Potion, Anti-Aging, MAC 24-Hour, Too Faced Shadow Insurance) and even when I’ve dusted translucent powder on top. They are more forgiving on lips than the majority of cream/stick products I’ve tried that are for cheeks/lips–that lack of drying down completely might actually be what makes them easier to apply and wear on the lips. They have, thus far, worked the best as a cream blush (or bronzer/contour, depending on the shade and your skin tone/needs).
Those dusty pinks look nice.
Not sure I need to go down this road, but Brioche stands out for me.
I was so excited about these! it would be great if they really worked as 3-in-1 product! The shades are pretty so I will still probably pick one or two.
Honestly, I had a feeling that these would be one or the other. Either great as a eye/cheek stick that would really dry down and as a result be uncomfortable on lips, or the opposite, great on lips/cheeks due to not being too dry for lips. It’s obviously the later. So now I am curious to see how these look on lips and as a blush!
The earliest makeup memory I have is of my mother putting lipstick on her eyes and cheeks as well as her lips. These are great but a lot of the colors look similar to each other to me. That said, cocoa looks like a great contour shade depending on how long these last. Also have my eye on Brioche and Biscotti!
Brioche and Biscotti are my favorites ass well! They look very matte and dry though… So I think this will be a pass for me.
Wow, all of the colors are gorgeous!! I wasn’t planning to use them on my eyes. Anything creamy enough for lips/cheeks is going to last about 2 secs on my oily lids before sliding off, and it’s not sanitary anyway. Nectar (purple) is calling my name, don’t think I have any dupes in my stash. Also eyeing a few other shades. Thank you, can’t wait for your reviews!!
I’m really drawn to Brioche though many look great.
I have Brioche and wore it for the first time today. I didn’t have problems with it creasing on my lids, but I have really dry skin and rarely use primer for even powder shadows. I really liked it as a lush/contour colour, but found it hard to apply to the lips straight from the tube due to the lack of a pointed bullet. I might give another shade a try.
do these smell like the lipsticks, christine? I have tried their matte lip crayons and glosses and can never get over that cinnamon type smell…
They have a faint lemony scent to me – I don’t smell cinnamon with Bite’s products?
Some nice colors but I’m probably going to skip. I suspect these would be too greasy as a blush for me (multisticks usually are.)
I’m planning to check out that Almond color when these finally show up at Sephora in my area
3-in-1 was ambitious; I was intrigued how it was going to work out. I think I can pass — none of the shades are must-haves for me, even powders crease on my lids, cream blushes aren’t good on me.
I can’t wait for the reviews, I’m really interested in Nectar!!! Brioche and Gelato definitely look like gorgeous shades to me as well. But I was a little worried about Bite branching out, outside of lips-only products. I kinda feel like it’s their specialty and they’re a niche brand so they should stick to what they do best on one hand; on another if they can do these really well then more power to them.
Worth a swatch, I guess. Made me get out a couple of multiple products. My skin is more normal now, and doesn’t eat Nars Mauritius on cheeks anymore. Agree with Katherine: if you want to apply to lips, better that you choose a brush. Nobody really wants to know what is in the human mouth, and you certainly don’t want it anywhere near your eyes….
There’s FIVE that I like and would wear. Yikes!! Looks like i’ll be going to swatch these and feel the texture!!
so are these over sized like a nars multiple or are they the size of a lipstick? there are some pretty colors but i don’t know how I feel about using a product on my lips and eyes.
They are 0.17 oz. – stated in the post above! 🙂
I’ve had two of these in and out of my cart since they arrived on the Sephora website. I think these will work best used as blush, and that’s how I’d want to use them. I’m just wondering if the formula would clog pores and create problems that currently don’t exist. I’m hesitant.
I like Brioche and Mascarpone as a blushe. During the harsh winters in the Eastern Canada, I prefer to use cream blushes.
My skin is on the oily side, so I don’t see these working well for me as shadows or blushes, unfortunately.
Curious to see how these do on the lips – I’m allergic to almonds and their Amuse Bouche lipstick has almond oil in it (painful, peeling experience)! I’m hoping the texture is nice.. love some of the colors.
I’m really curious about these – Creme Caramel and Blondie are my kind of lip and cheek colours <3
Pretty swatches but if its not going to work on the eyes then I don’t see this being as multi-use. I may buy this to use as a cream blush but if it doesn’t dry down completely, I might as well just use a lipstick as cream blush.
Too bad they don’t work well on the lid. I was eyeing two of them after seeing Bite’s promo pictures on instagramm where they used the same shade on eyes, lips and cheeks, but now I think I might skip them. I have a ton of lip/cheek products already.
Well, I’m not disappointed since I never seriously considered putting them on my eyes. There are some seriously great colors there — Biscotti might be one of those “looks amazing on everyone” types of shades.
I’m not convinced that these are for me, since I just don’t use cream products of any kind, but I’ll swatch out of curiosity if I see them in the store. If I thought they might work for me, I’d be very interested in Biscotti, Cerise, Nectar, Mascarpone, Mochi, Brioche, and Almond, with Biscotti and Mochi being at the top of that list. Honeywheat looks like it would make a great contour for me. But again, cream…
These look pretty, I like the look of Macaroon and Nectar best!
I seem to be in the minority, but these have quickly become the product I’ve been most excited about this year! Blushes in stick form are by far my favourite for traveling, but I feel like they’re hard to come by. I don’t really care if they don’t last on the eyes since I was only planning on using them as a blush anyway. Blondie and Gelato are right up my alley, but all the colours are stunning! Now if only Bite products weren’t so hard to get in Europe… Can’t wait to see your reviews for these 🙂
I purchased Almond, Biscotti, and Cerise. I love these as lip and cheek products. I also struggled with creasing on the eyes. However, I have found that, if I use primer and then follow with a light layer of setting powder, these go on much better. Going straight over primer, they crease in 5 min on me.
I’m spying lots of neutral-ish looking undertones, which just sing to me. I can’t swatch Bite, only buy online, so I’ll probably never look further into these :/
I think I accidentally deleted my own comment. Genius move. The summary; so much pretty!! Wow so much shorter the 2nd time around Bwahaha
These didn’t crease on me at all! I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance and a light dusting of their Too Faced Primed and Poreless powder. Beautiful colors, and honestly the first “multiple” that even comes close to be able to wear on lips, cheeks, AND eyes.
Thin layers is key.
Just keep in mind that I do not use primer or setting powder to ensure longevity of a product that advertisers longevity on its own!
That’s right!! I forgot, and I totally appreciate that for review. I think eye primer has become such a staple in my routine that I don’t even think to try product without it.
I wrote this more as a response to your initial thoughts, as you wrote none of the primers you tried with them worked well for you. I wanted to offer my experience with them in case someone else wanted to try my combo. ☺️
All of the testers I swatched were pretty dry. It made me wonder if these will eventually turn into bricks because they’ve only been for sale a few weeks. Maybe exposure to air had something to do with it.
Hi! What shade do you recommend for a medium skin tone? Thanks!
