Sneak Peek: bareMinerals Gen Nude Highlighters + Blonzers Swatches (x7)
bareMinerals Gen Nude Highlighter ($26.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a new, powder highlighter available in five shimmery shades (two peachier in tone, three rosier in tone). The brand also added two more shades in the Gen Nude Blonzer range. Here’s how the highlighters are marketed:
Achieve a naturally luminous, rosy glow in a silky, weightless formula. Finely milled pearls melt into the skin for a fresh, translucent “lit from within” glow.
Kiss Of Mauve is my one and only pick. Other than Kiss Of Spice and the aforementioned, the other shades are way too pale for even my winter coloring, I believe! If Alicia Archer or Tara Lynn from YouTube review any of these, I’ll get a pretty good idea of how or if any of them would look like on me.
If these weren’t so shimmery I could really love a couple of them -Rose Glow and perhaps Pink Glow. They definitely look good in the swatches.
Oohh, Kiss of Mauve looks nice to play with pink and plum cheeks. I have Kiss of Copper and Kiss of Pink Blonzers, they are really nice to lock in cream cheek products and add a bit of satiny shimmer. I use them before Hourglass powders and the combo is very diffusing and natural. Kiss of Pink is beautiful to set the eyes after a bit of bronzer in the crease : )
Pink Glow is so pretty. I know a lot of people love the Bare Minerals “blonzers” but I’ve not tried them. I’m so awash in more blushes, bronzers and highlighters than any woman ever needs but I’m still interested to see how these play out….
