We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! When we’re in Ottawa (not often enough), I’ll indulge myself a bit at the Shoppers at the Rideau Centre on a Thursday (so 20% off, which is blissful, really) and then I’ll often minimize some of the damage by using my Optimum points to bring down the price further. Just one more reason to love Ottawa.

I’m really disappointed that it is only 15% off this year. I already used my Ulta 20% off coupon. I had held off on some purchases during 20% (or less) off sales to place on large Sephora order for everything I know I’ll use, like foundation and concealer (and maybe something extra). I think I’ll skip using the coupon anything this year and wait for individual brands’ seasonal sales, as some do 20-25% off sales.

YAY, the most happiest time of the year! Skin care is a must, of course and then a couple of makeup pieces. I am still whittling those down but am leaning towards a couple of Pat McGrath pieces. I am definitely getting a couple of lipsticks for my daughter as she is really loving the LuxeTrance formula and wants to get them all. I have about $700 sitting in my cart right now and that is just crazy town so must get that down to a reasonable amount.

Almost just in time for my trip back to Europe to visit my family and friends (I always use the Holiday sale to buy gifts and staples). I was actually delaying some purchases with the sale in mind.

What I plan to purchase:
* Shiseido Facial Cotton (honestly, Sephora should automatically order this for me during the sales 😆 )
* Lip Balm replacement – COOLA Liplux SPF 30 (gotta keep even my lips protected from the sun)
* Body exfoliant replacement – DERMADOCTOR KP Duty Lotion (I want to try something else than my tried-and-true Paula’s Choice products, but most likely I’ll buy the mini, not the full size)
* Hair products replacements – a hair oil (most likely VERB Ghost Oil) and a heat protector for when I blow dry (I was looking into some Kerastase products, but I might go safe with Living Proof). Although I already finished my current heat protector, I only have a tiny sample.
* Body wash replacements – I want to buy again SKINFIX Eczema+ Foaming Oil Body Wash
* Gifts (some cute ornaments sets, one of the Sol de Janeiro sets, some mini lip balms and hand creams)

Can’t wait. Sephora has the best and most prolific range of brands. Hope to get some palettes, like the Hourglass, that I passed on at full price.

Succeeded in not re-upping rouge for next year. Not even sure I’ll make VIB. Will miss the free shipping only. Skin care tries for me have not worked out, though i will get the Ordinary starter set for someone. Also do no hair products @ S. The only thing i have my eye on is fragrance, where S has U beat by a major margin. Phlur Sandara.
