Sephora Galaxy Girl Contour Eye Pencil ($10.00 for 0.04 oz.) is described as a “black blue.” It’s a medium-dark black with subtle, warm undertones and medium blue sparkle and shimmer. This was one of the weaker shades I’ve tried in the range, as the sparkles seemed to make it harder to apply it in a smooth, even line. It built up decently, but it was still lacking in intensity. It wore well for ten hours. NARS Night Flight (P, $24.00) has more navy-hued shimmer. Urban Decay LSD (P, $19.00) has more shimmer so it appears lighter. MAC Industrial (P, $15.00) also has more shimmer and appears lighter. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Sephora Go For a Ride Contour Eye Pencil ($10.00 for 0.04 oz.) is described as a “dark green.” It’s a rich, medium-dark cool-toned green with a pearly sheen. It had really good pigmentation in a single stroke, and it was easily opaque after one and a half layers of product. It wore particularly well and topped in at eleven hours before it started to thin/fade. The texture was creamy without being too waxy or emollient. MAC Devotion (P, $20.00) is warmer. MAC Dark Envy (LE, $16.00) is cooler-toned. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Sephora Starry Sky Contour Eye Pencil ($10.00 for 0.04 oz.) is described as a “grey.” It’s a medium-dark silver-shimmered gray with cool undertones. The consistency was soft, creamy, and didn’t tug at the lash line. It was semi-opaque in one pass, and it was mostly opaque after two layers. The color lasted well for nine and a half hours before thinning. bareMinerals Steadfast Slate (LE) is warmer, darker, less shimmery. MAC Metropolis (LE, $16.00) is darker. Marc Jacobs Beauty (Stone)Fox (58) (P, $25.00) is warmer. Buxom I’ll Be Waiting (P, $17.00) is lighter. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

I like the sparkle and shimmer in Galaxy Girl. It’s not intense, but I usually wear it over eyes shadow anyway, and I find that very black liners look too harsh on me.

I have Galaxy Girl (along with about 6 or perhaps more other shades) and I just LOVE it. I may have to add Go for a Ride to my liner collection – it looks so lovely and so much nicer than Water Willow (MAC) which I thought would be really nice but which is actually pretty ordinary.

Go For a Ride is one of the best I’ve tried from the range — and you know I quite like the formula all-in-all, but it was exceptionally lovely.

Ive been collecting these for a while and have all but a few now lol. i actually don’t have Starry Skye but shades likes that don’t really show up on me so I might skip it! So many great colours in this range and most of them have been really good ( texture and staying power wise) on me! Dontcha just love Fairytale?:)

Oh yeah, Go for a Ride is my all time favorite eyeliner. I tried all the greens in UD’s line, and ended up returning them and keeping Go for a Ride. It’s particularly great for dark brown eyes.

Go For a Ride looks great! I wonder how it compares to UD Mars… *goes to look* LOL! OK, my mind’s eye needs an adjustment! Mars is a whole different shade, ROFL!
