The Sephora FLASH 2-Day Shippig Subscription is now available to everyone. Those who are Rouge members can enroll for free. Those who are not, unlimited 2-day shipping can be had for $10 per year.  The link doesn’t seem to work via mobile (even if you search for it as a product, the page gives an error), so you’ll probably have to jump on your desktop for this one!

I’ve been a member since Sephora rolled out beta (though I paid $25 at the time–$10 makes it more accessible), and it’s been good overall, but I haven’t had the best experiences with overnight shipping at the special rate of $5.95; too often it has resulted in the packaging taking longer than 2-day would have.  I think it’s worth it if you order online often and don’t live near a distribution point (I used to never order from Sephora, because it would take 5-7 days to get to me on the west coast) or don’t have a store nearby.  The best part about it is really that processing time seems to be greatly reduced, so packages get into transit faster (generally).

I’ve had this for about 2-3 years and i paid $15 i think. It’s been so long! I love it! i have never tried the overnight shipping but the 2 days is ALWAYS on time. i love that i don’t have to worry about the over $50 minimum. Really makes all the difference between ordering from sephora vs another site.

If it is free to rouge members I don’t understand why it is even necessary to enroll, shouldn’t it just be that rouge members get free 2 day shipping and if you want the perk as a non rouge you would have to sign up?

Yes, that is it. I had sign into may account and click through and check that I read it.I did. It basically says they have the right to terminate it. i wanted to make sure it wasn’t some sort of thing I would get a charge for out of the blue. Seems like it’s free as long as you remain a Rouge. Even for $10 a year, not bad.

I’m VIB Rouge so I just signed on for the year! Sounds great! I won’t be ordering anything more online until Ardency Inn Rosegold is back in stock though (been waiting months for this).

I just received my pkg, that included nail polish. I ordered late Sunday and it shipped Monday. Even thou I live close to a store, it’s tough to get up there. I was impressed!

Wow. It almost doesn’t make sense NOT to purchase it. Shipping (for orders under $50) is $5.95 any way. Why not just spend $10 and have “free” shipping for a year? No more waiting until you have $50 in items to purchase!

Pretty awesome. I qualified for Rouge last year but this year I am not spending nearly enough there, so I will likely lose Rouge status for 2016. Free shipping means a lot to me because in the past I would over spend there, just to get free shipping. This year has been awesome because I can make smaller indulgences and have them ship free. Ten dollars for the year is totally worth it. My Sephora orders are always very prompt and I’ve never had a problem. But I do live in the NYC area.

I don’t really have a need for 2-day shipping, but free shipping without a minimum purchase is very appealing! Makes the sales a better deal for me.

Kinda upset about this cause the reason I wanted VIB rouge last year was cause of the free shipping. Glad that I can automatically enroll, but still. Would be cheaper to be VIB and pay $10 for the same perks I got for spending $1000 and getting VIB rouge.

I know I’ll end up buying more from Sephora, as many times I want to buy something, but don’t want to spend an additional $5.95 on shipping so I pass (from Sephora anyway). By the time you add shipping and tax it really jacks up the price. I’m so glad they dropped the price from $25 to $10. I passed on it last year. I hate paying for shipping 😉

Christine, do you know if this is a limited time offer? I don’t see myself ordering anything from Sephora in the next few months, but it would be a shame to miss out on this amazing deal.

I called the US customer service number and was told that this offer is good until August. Meaning you can sign up anytime from now until August, and have it still be good for one year since your subscription purchase date. Sounds a little too good to be true for me… But if that’s really the case I’ll be purchasing this when I next place an online order! Thanks for the heads up Christine!

I didn’t even know about this…it’s kind of strange how they didn’t send out a mass email about this, at least to Rouge members, but maybe I just missed it? Not sure…well, I’m glad I read about it here! Even though I do live near a Sephora, it’s just so much more convenient doing everything online, especially being able to return things and get a credit card refund instead of store credit!

I always wait until I can get to the store to return which is hard for me because i have a health condition and the medicine keeps me from being able to drive a lot. Do they do the pick up at your home or do you have to get it to the post office?

Sadly, you do have to make a run to the post office still. 🙁 But the postage is pre-paid and free, so if you can get someone to drop it off, that makes it really convenient.

Next time I have a return, I’ll just have to see if i need to go to the mall for any other reasons. I thought the customer had to pay return shipping! great to know you don’t. The mall is a money trap and I can never get in and out like I plan . 🙂

From a cost perspective, I can totally understand why Sephora isn’t able to offer free 2-day shipping to Canada. But perhaps they could offer free regular-speed shipping to Canada at a similar yearly price.

I am glad they are doing this. I think their online sales must be picking up. I have noticed the usual what is supposed to be 3 day rouge shipping recently become close to 4-5 when it was usually no more than 3 days and that included Saturday. But, Anyone, can get it for $10. That’s a pretty good deal. not sure if that will help the situation. I really should not complain though and it doesn’t typically bother me(except during this last VIB event when i waited 2 weeks..kinda annoying when I had to go to the store for samples of skin care because mine was in the warehouse a week later). I am guilty of ordering a single $10 eyeliner in one order on occasion. Typically I try to make it $25 to throw in the free deluxe goodies. 🙂

So, if we are already enrolled in Flash shipping, we don’t have to resign up or add to cart? I don’t see specifics about current members. I’m also a Rouge member. Thank you 🙂

I’m really glad they made this available to everyone! I’m rouge for this year, but I won’t be next year because I’m really cutting down spending, but having this cheaper shipping option will really be helpful in the future, because sometimes the things I order on Sephora in the sale section are cheaper than the shipping would be!

Yay, I’m a Rouge! Boo, I’m also Canadian… Sigh. I realize nothing is going to pass the border and move along in 2 days only buuuut… Could they not speed it up a little?
They made improvements to our shipping a while ago that saw my parcels go from taking 2.5 weeks to 1.5, pretty much (I’m sure the speed varies with area; I’m west coast).
But hey, surely they could improve the speed of service on the Canada Post side as I’ve seen my packages leave Sephora and arrive at the border in 1-2 days thanks to parcel tracking; no problem there.
I know, I know. Canadian shipping is dang expensive! WE are well aware! But there are SO many great shipping deals in the US – most online ordering has the option of free or very cheap shipping. I admit, I’m jealous! 😉
C’mon, Sephora; I know it’s possible. I ordered on like Christmas Eve and was amazed that amongst the holiday closures, had my package before New Year’s Eve! It was AWESOME! DO IT AGAIN!!! Lol.

I also joined this, but I can’t help but to wonder what the hitch is.. With Sephora, there must be one. Especially if VIB ROUGE already received this perk. Will this just delete delays now? Yeah, no. I doubt that. I wonder what the collective intelligence of the Sephora Customer Service team is. I had to cancel out my card due to being hacked and I was of course replaced with a new one, but when it came to refurns, Sephora can’t answer where the money is being refunded to, other than to say my old card.. Seriously? Do they not know cards represent accounts and they get sorted out? I wasn’t even asking! I listened to them confuse each other and then tell me they would pass the note along and someone would contact me within 48 hours. Wth

This is actually more complicated than you’d think and it depends on your bank. Usually someone has to actually call the credit card company and verify that it’s the same account. The store is protecting itself against theft.

Your old card and new card represent the same account. There’s no such thing as crediting your old card, it’s the account that gets credited and you’ll see it on the statement for your current card.

I’ve been through this a couple of times and most store employees and CSRs aren’t trained to handle it.

Thanks for info! I’m VIB Rouge so I signed up for free. Hope they can deliver on the 2 day promise. Sephora is generally pretty good about fast deliveries, except during the big sale, when it took 1.5-2 weeks to get my stuff, but they gave me extra points in the rewards bank as consolation.

Once again, you keep me better informed about sephora than they do! Never saw anything about this until your post. I signed up & got a msg that I’m already enrolled? Not sure how or when that happened. It’s not just because I’m rouge. But, a new banner displayed w/MY FLASH, in upper rt. corner, that wasn’t there before I just signed up. Want to take a test run to try it out, but I bought a lot during the coupon.

So then what’s the point of vip rouge. The shipping with no minimum was a plus. Will sephora be adding more features to vib rouge since they are practically giving away one of our benefits??

Is the free shipping automatic when you are enrolled in Flash, so you can still enter a promotion code? That would be a big benefit too- I hate choosing between a free shipping code and a bonus sample code!

While there are a few other perks for being Rouge, the most valuable by far is the free 3-day shipping with no minimum purchase. I’ve been Rouge since its inception–not sure I’ll continue. Yes–they will be giving Rouge members Flash for free–but think about it—why would I spend $1000 a year to get 2-day shipping when I now only have to spend $10? It’s a definite no brainer. I think this program devalues the Rouge status and unless they offer something more in the future you will see Rouge disappear.
