*YAWN* 😴
Sorry, but that’s how I’m feeling seeing a bunch of repackaged permanent shades for the Lip Stories. The lip gloss set may turn out to be a slight bit more fun to see how it does, though. Possibly.

I’m actually glad that very little that’s interesting or tempting is coming through so far! Money saved! Well, except for a few very special pieces here and there.

I’ve been wanting to get Spring Break (and keep forgetting). Maybe I should buy it in this set, especially if it’s the one with the Golden Retriever puppy on it!

It seems lame, and confusing, to repackage and rename existing shades for the holiday lipsticks. Nothing about these sets is exciting me. Not that they’re bad or anything.

Both this and the Gamma Ray posts are excellent examples of why we need to keep up here. GR is gorgeous in the pan and could fool plenty of people. And everyone needs to be know about the lipstories dupes in altered packaging. Yes, it has happened before…and it’s still a bit disengenuos.

Hubby and I were chatting last night about how the quality of makeup has, generally, improved quite a bit – like it doesn’t feel as likely you’ll get a total dud these days… but here we are.

I haven’t paid much attention to the Creme Lip Stains but the three mini’s featured here are all shades from what use to be the permanent range and in a regular sized tube, so don’t know if the LE is just the tube size or the shades also. I have # 1 and #13 which were practically the only lipstick shades Allana Davison use to wear when I first started watching her channel back in the day. They are both really pretty shades and so getting in a mini might be okay. Otherwise, nothing special here.

Maybe they will again. I had 2 mustard lips, one more brown, one more yellow, from S BITD. Late 90s, iirc. They were deeply discounted, so they obviously didn’t do well in sales. But somebody should do some, f’sure.
