Round-up: Estee Lauder x Victoria Beckham Collection Overview
Estee Lauder x Victoria Beckham Collection
Here’s a look at how the products I tried from the new Estee Lauder x Vicoria Beckham Collection performed! My personal favorites are the Modern Mercury Highlighter and Eye Palette.
There are a few remaining pieces available via Bergdorf Goodman and most through Selfridges, while Saks has the collection available for pre-order. Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and NET-A-PORTER are also supposed to launch the collection on October 1st.

The only item I would love to try and get from this collex would have to be Modern Mercury. That is a highlighter to end all highlighters, for real!
It really is a gorgeous one! I was surprised at how many dupes there were for it, even if not 100%, but the tone is more dupable than it used to be!
The highlighter and Bronzer were very pretty but I feel they aren’t made for someone as pale as I am and dupeable. Quality is there, it’s just so pricey. The Black Myrrh shadow is very lovely. If I’m not impressed with the dupes, I might consider it.
The highlighter will definitely add some color on very fair skin tones!
The only three things that truly turn my head have your highest ratings. Yay! I’m only opting for the highlighter (preordered at Saks) because I think that might be the answer to what I have been searching for.
The bronzer is close enough the LM sample I have (from your dupe list), which is a good size and is nice. Don’t think I’ll spring for the eyeshadow, but I do think it is lovely, lovely. That Brazilian Nude speaks to be too, but I have lippes that are close enough.
Woohoo! 🙂 Great minds think alike, Linda!
As my best friend says, “Great minds think alike — and we can too! ” 🙂
Thanks for all you do, Christine. As a digital marketer, I KNOW how much time and effort each element of this takes. It’s changed my world from confused to focused about what I want and what I need. Awesome, outstanding, site.
Thank you so much, Linda! 😀
This collection is absurdly overpriced. Why? Because Victoria Beckham’s name is on it? I honestly feel like the prices should be at least 30% lower than they are.
I’m sure that’s part of it, but it’s hard to say that they didn’t also put more money into the product (actual product/packaging). I doubt it is 1:1 in that ratio, of course.
The only thing that appeals to me in this collection is the highlighter, but I find it too expensive, especially when there are dupes for so much less. The collection feels a bit like a rip off for the celebrity name. I don’t buy that way.
I totally understand!
I think every company is taking a slight chance with celebrity based collections. Some folks will dislike the specific person; some will dislike the hype or price jack up. Esp for more polarizing celebrities, like Brittney or Bunny. I try to judge the product as product, but know exactly what you mean. Used to try to use nail scissors scissors to remove the polo horseman off shirts. Bad idea. Think of all the work that goes into celebrity selection, on beyond general popularity rating. But the US is VERY celebrity obsessed, so it is hardly surprising. Wonder how this goes in the rest of the world? Do Brazilian, Singaporean, Nigerian companies use national/international celebrities, too? Korean s/c and m/u seem highly tied in to K pop artists, f’sure.
