Round-up: ColourPop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks Overview & Thoughts

ColourPop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick ($5.00 for 0.11 fl. oz.) is a good option for someone who likes their liquid lipsticks and wants a budget-friendly alternative. The formula is thin, but it isn’t the thinnest I’ve encountered (that would go to Milani) and there is some inconsistency in the range–some are quite nice, others flake or emphasize lip lines/texture a lot. They tend to be long-wearing and lightly drying over time.

Thanks for the roundup! For $ 5, it’s great to see so many A and B ratings. I do wish Zipper and Lychee scored better, but purples are tough for many brands. But to their credit, their traditional lippies in Leather and Grind are awesome!

I finally made my ColourPop order this friday! Would’ve done it much sooner if I didn’t have to go through the extra step with the shipping service…
I know I’ve told you about what I wanted to order several times but I’ve also changed my mind several times but here’s my final shopping cart: Beeper, Tulle, Avenue, Creeper liquid lipsticks. Grunge and Oh Snap lippie stix. Hammered eyeshadow. Lastly Safari and Peacocky lippie stix for mom! I’m super excited, since I actually haven’t gotten a lot of new lipsticks lately!

Solow and Sundae are very appealing to me as “may try”s, also while not on this report card, Dr. M, is incredibly tempting for a fun shade for me! While I don’t know how my lips will handle such a dry, matte formula while living in a dry desert climate, this would be an inexpensive way to find out. Thank you for bringing ColourPop to our attention and putting it on the map!

The i’ve recently ordered some of their matte lipsticks and i must say my favorite has to be bumble and solow. Vice and midi is a big no no for me because they’re too pale for me
