Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Swatches (x10)
Here are swatches of 10 more shades in the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick range. I thought I had more to share but half of the ones I had set to swatch next were discontinued! (I even managed to swatch one I had recently swatched, sigh!)
Brazilian Tan is a super nice nude! I like that one quite a lot.
Also, Love Is On in this formula! Gorgeous powerhouse red!
Nancy, We have such similar tastes. I’m also liking Smokey Rose
These lipsticks look the same on the lips except for maybe two last colors. Disappointing.
Loving Brazilian Tan, perfect nude for my skin tone!
I have been down such a vintage beauty rabbit hole lately, so seeing these swatches is just like catnip to me. Rosedew and Apricot Fantasy both strike me as very neat retro shades! Who has more iconic, historic lipstick shades still in production than Revlon?
This is the thing that turned me off Revlon lipsticks all those years ago – the colour range was fabulous, but when I wore the lipstick, it was never as pigmented as the colour in the tube had you to believe. In the end all of their lipsticks pretty much looked the same on me. I have Abstract Orange and even that one doesn’t look too orangey on me.
I definitely see a few I want… It’s so ironic how into lip products I’ve been lately, considering I can’t leave my apartment without a face covering…
Which shades have been discontinued?
There were a ton – I didn’t write them down!
Ah, it looks like they’ve discontinued Pink Truffle?! If you have searched it by chance, do you know which shade is the closest? Meanwhile I’ll try and order a backup before it’s all gone. It was a perfect sheer MLBB shade for me 🙁
Me, too. Really, nothing else has ever been as perfect. And I’ve tried to duplicate it endlessly, in many different brands.
I like Smoky Rose and Rose Velvet in Super Lustrous, but they’re not dupes for Pink Truffle. Both are more opaque, and Rose Velvet is also brighter. I like Rosy Future in the Super Lustrous lip gloss, but it’s a gloss, not a sheer lipstick.
This is gonna be a problem.
