Rescue Beauty Lounge Be Humble & Forgiveness Nail Lacquers Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Rescue Beauty Lounge Be Humble Nail Lacquer
Rescue Beauty Lounge Be Humble Nail Lacquer ($20.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “taupe … [with] pink, blue, and lavender shimmers.” It’s a warm, muted, light-medium mauve with fine pink and lavender pearl (I couldn’t really pull out the blue). It applied well and was opaque in two coats. The formula is on the thicker side but the consistency didn’t affect the performance or application. Cult Nails Let’s Get Dirty is slightly pinker and warmer, but it is similar and the only shade I could think of that was similar (it also has a wax finish, so you’ll need a top coat to replicate the shine of Be Humble). See comparison swatches.
Forgiveness Nail Lacquer ($20.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as an “[opaque] … dove-lavender.” It’s a muted, neutral lavender with a creamy finish. It was opaque in two coats, and it flowed well across the nail without pooling along the edges or streaking. Cult Nails My Kind of Cool Aid is slightly cooler. Zoya Lotus is much darker. Essie Cocktail Bling is cooler-toned. Essie Bangle Jangle is warmer, brighter. See comparison swatches.

Thanks for the review of Be Humble – I wish I had seen this before I picked up Cult Nails Let’s Get Dirty…! First on Be Humble: it really is one of my fave polishes – a kind of light dirty taupe that looks incredibly elegant. I was stressing out that it was a dupe for Let’s Get Dirty, not counting the wax finish of Let’s Get Dirty which could be glossified easily. But actually on my nails, Let’s Get Dirty is lighter and much warmer/pinker toned – enough so that I don’t feel so guilty about having both! I saw this different on my nails, not so much when I swatched on a color wheel, so I am sure my skin tone has a lot to do with creating this difference. But it’s there 😉
I’m glad there is a difference between the two since you have ’em both! 🙂
Very classy !
Loving Be Humble!
Yeah… Be Humble may just be a must have for me
Oh, these are absolutely beautiful! You always kill me with your polish swatches, Christine — I’m still not a polish-wearer, but you make everything look so tempting 😛
Hmmm. Maybe Be Humble will be just the right blend of lavender & taupe to get me wearing nail varnish…
I kind of like Forgiveness, which I didn’t expect to like.
They remind me a lot of Color Club’s High Society. A very nice taupe/ purple/ greyish color.
Be Humble looks so, so gorgeous! It makes me want to grab it, though I’ve never spent $20 on nail polishes before.
