I’m a fan of glittery glosses. I love Macs Dazzleglasses. It’s a right pain when it comes to getting them off, and I hate how when the gloss fades the glitter manages to make it’s way to other parts of your face, but I just can’t resist wearing them. It’s always “Ooh, shiny in a tube!”. Yes, I have no self control 😛

I love glitter lipgloss, but I hate the gritty feeling of glitters on my lips. MAC Dazzeglass is the only glitter lipgloss I tolerate, I haven’t found any other glitter lipgloss I like so far.

If a gloss is going to have glitter in it, I prefer it to be sticky. Non-sticky glosses with glitter in them just get eaten off and I wind up with glitter all over my teeth. As much as a tacky lip product may get on your nerves, when applied with a balm underneath, the texture is much more bearable and you have glitter LIPS, not teeth, for about 6 good hours.

I hate glittery lipglosses! They make you look like a middle school girl. A tiny bit of shimmer is ok, but big chunks of glitter just looks tacky and immature.

I love glitter in my lip gloss! It’s so fun! And once you have it on, it’s not like it looks as if you dipped your lips in glue then glitter. It adds a nice shimmer that really brings my lips to life.

I love how fun it looks when just applied. I hate it when it feels gritty and I really hate that gloss wears off and leaves mystery sparkles all over the lower half of my face until I get to wash it all off.

I like glosses with very tiny, fine “sparkles,” like the MAC Dazzleglasses. I’ve even been known to add a bit of super-fine shimmery mica powder to my Dazzleglass, to augment the shimmer even further. I’m blessed with plump, smooth, well-shaped lips, and a fine shimmer plays them up in a subtle, very flattering way.

I love glitter glosses, but the only on I wear is dazzleglass. It stays on the longest and can not feel the glitter.
I have not found anything like it.

I just got my first glittery lip gloss – MAC’s Dazzleglass in Spanking Rich. The only thing I don’t like about it is that when it does wear off (if I’m wearing it on its own), it does leave glitter bits on my bare lips which is a bit, well, odd!

The Lorac 3D was the absolute worst glitter lipgloss ever. You could feel the glitter as if there were rocks on your lips! Philosophy’s lip glosses in the tubes with some shimmer are GORGEOUS on! Dazzleglasses are good too, but they are sticky and last a while. Ugh I can;t get over how awful the Lorac ones were though!

The only glitter gloss I’ve ever used is Dazzleglass. And I’m a total Dazzleglass junkie. It’s really quite pathetic! I’m 49 and have to have Rags To Riches with me at all times. Or Love Alert.
Only other ones I’ve looked at smelled fruity and the consistency was wrong. I think I just really like the feel of it on my lips- I wear it to bed at night. But it also keeps the chapped monster away really well. As for bald glitter on mu lips? Never happens. I re apply.

If I’m sounding too nuts, my habit started from using it on training rides. And the gym. It lasts and is girly in that pack of competitive men so it became A Thing. MAC has raised the price so much that’s ending though; I’ve gone to colorless iridescent lipsticks. MAC Holiday Whirls And Twirls is my present lap swimming lip color. Pity. Dazzleglass was perfect! And everyone needs an eccentricity.

I’m open to suggestions. Just no fruity synthetic flavors please?

I agree that Dazzleglass is SO moisturizing! I wore Date Night over Rebel lipstick to keep my lips moist, and my lips seemed to be in better condition when I removed it than when I initially applied it! But I’m with you that they either need to stop upping the price, or at least add more product to the tube.

I used to shrug at glitter glosses, but then I bought my first MAC Dazzleglass over the weekend and I was floored! I love it! Photos online just don’t do Dazzleglasses justice. I love that the glitter spreads evenly over the lips, doesn’t feel gritty, and doesn’t migrate. Plus, they’re fun for layering.

While I can’t say that I’m a fan of glitter lipglosses in the tube, I am a huge fan of MAC’s lipgelees as they’re sterling in texture. The 1 glitter lipgloss in the tube I was quite taken with was the MAC one that just came out in the Glitter & Ice Collection — the one with the pink & silver glitter (sorry, MAC does so many releases that I don’t clogged my brain cells w/ the items I don’t buy anymore). It sparkled like diamonds! However, as I’m beyond my clubbing day, I have absolutely no where to wear it to as it’s too over the top for even formal affairs. Oh, to be young again! 😉

I love glittery lip gloss that isn’t too in-your-face. My favorite is Nars Greek Holiday, because it’s sheer and glowy, but still has some noticeable sparkle. I think big chunky lip gloss feels gritty and gross, who’d want to kiss that?

The shimmery-ist/glitteriest ones are the best (and good ones too, not too many of the cheaper ones). I’m attracted to them like fish are to twinkly lures. My husband also likes them and always wants to know which ones I’m wearing on a particular day. My favs are the Mac Dazzleglasses and Lipgelees like Now in Season and whatever the pink one is from that same collection, Chanel Glossimers, and DiorKiss Lime Glace and Sorbet Meringue.

Veronica Avatar

I don’t have any major problem with them, but it’s also not something I’d reach for at a store, either. I’m pretty sure I haven’t worn any since high school, as it is.

Everyone needs a little glitter in their life no matter how old you are! I just recently discovered MAC dazzleglasses and I’m hooked haha I wear mine everyday and I don’t really care if I look tacky cause every time I see myself in the mirror a smile creeps across my face! My favourite is MAC dazzleglass in Extra Amps, it looks amazing on my deep coloured lips!

Zozolina Avatar

I dont like glitter in any kind of make-up. It irritates (?, not native spaker, I am not sure is this the right word) my eyes and I dont like it on my lips either.

Nadia Avatar

I’m pretty much over the whole lipgloss craze, glitter or otherwise. I’m down to 4-5 lipglosses and I’m trying to use those up as fast as possible just to be rid of them. Lipstick (including the Chanel rouge allure laques) all the way!

I suppose this makes me a mutant, but I actually like the feel of glitter on my lips. I miss the really glittery stuff Bonne Bell was coming out in 2002/2003-ish. Can’t say it looks flattering on me, though!

Pip Avatar

Have to say, I’m really not a fan. I’ve already got quite pouty lips, and adding glittery lip gloss makes them look like a shiny, sparkly disco ball. Definitely not my cup of tea.
