Love it! I don’t have that many creme blushes but when I tried Florida and So Sweet, So Easy cremeblend blushes from the Lillyland collection, I was hooked. They’re both such gorgeous colours, so smooth and easy to blend too.

Holy crap? Really?! LOOOOOOVE cream blush! Love love love! How could you not?! LOL! I use it all the time – I’ll even use lipstick (Vegas Volt is a pretty cream blush FYI).

I think it’s great on it’s own (I like to use Face & Body Foundation without powder) or as a step before I powder, then put powder blush on top to help the color stay for a long time.

I love anything multi-use and cream blushes are definitely that (lips, eyeshadow base, cheeks, etc.).

I wish and wish that it looked good on me. Maybe I just haven’t found the right one? I have larger pores, and I feel like cream blushes emphasizes the holy heck out of them.

Dusty Avatar

I have large-ish pores, I use a primer before I do any make-up on myself, either MAC’s Prep + Prime or the pore minimizer that they just re-launched a few weeks back (which works REALLY well).

I actually just finished filming a vid the other day for my YouTube page where I used a cream blush (haven’t finished editing yet tho). My FAVORITE brush to use with them is the new MAC 130. It’s nice and compact so you can really stipple on the color and then rub it/blend it in to a nice finish. Works great! But I love that brush for LOTS of things – It’s replaced the 109 as my favorite face brush… Poor lonely 109 🙁 LOL!

I want to like creme blush, for nothing else but the staying power, but even being a pro artist, I find they often can be hard to blend when used over foundation. I gave up for a while and am just getting back into them- right now I have a couple of Tarte Cheekstains and an Illamasqua Creme- which are your favorites?

Overall I really like cream blushes. But there are definately some brands/colors are better than others. I love MAC’s because they are easy to blend but I have ones by Clinique and Almay which are awful. Also as a tip, use a little then apply more. You put on too much it’s not easily taken off.

I luv the MAC Lillyland blushes because the colors are super gorgeous & easy to work with! They’re great alone or as bases for powder blushes. I have a couple of other cream products from Stila & Smashbox that are great as well.

I never wear anything but cream blush anymore…to me, it looks so much more natural than a powder. I’m also a lady “of a certain age” and powder sort of sits on my face, looking dry and yucky. My past favorite was Stila Convertible Color in “Gerbera”; currently using and loving Illamasqua’s “Rude”. Both shades are lovely soft peach tones, although “Rude” looks scary as hell in the pan, lol.

Ooh. I love them. They defifintely last longer on my skin than powders. I like to apply it after tinted moisturizer, but before concealer and powder. Also, I use just a tad more than I think I need and by the time I’m finished, it’s just right.

I love my tarte cheek stain, but I find that it’s too sticky just to wear on it’s own. It’s awesome with a layer of Sugarbomb or Coralista on top though!

I like cream blushes for the most part. I like the gel blushes that Tarte has come out with. I think they stand out more and they last longer. The only problem is that they can sometimes be too dark. You have to apply them carefully and not overdo it. I usually put cream or gel blush on my bare skin after I’ve put moisturizer on and then I’ll lightly put my foundation on top of it. It makes it look more natural and you can use your foundation brush or sponge to blend it in a bit more.

I’m really not a cream blush person. Not only do I have a problem with natural redness on my cheeks and forehead, but I also have skin that is occasionally flaky and dry. Any heavier cream products tend to settle into the flakes of my dry skin and make me look like I’m sick or have a skin disease! I don’t really use much blush, and when I do I only use a light powder in a neutral tone.

Lovelovelove. I have very dry skin & cream blush applies much better than a powder. Also, it gives me that dewy finish I’m looking for.

I can’t recall the number of the MAC brush, but it is the smaller version of the 187…I think it is 188 (sorry if I am wrong). It works wonderfully with cream blushes…I happen to love them over powder versions. Still, I do apply a little powder blush over the cream blush for staying power. However, even when wearing it alone, it is a must for me. I have a few, but MAC and Stila are my favorites one. On the low end cream blushes, I like Loreal Mousse cheek color. This product works like a charm, although its staying power is not as strong as its high end counterparts…one advice: start up with a little, then as you wish, add on a little more cream blush on to your cheeks. A little portion does go a long way…the old saying, “less is more” applies perfectly to cream blushes!

Absolutely love cream blush at first! I think I was at first intimidated, and was worried I’d be lookin’ like a clown – but I think its all in the packaging and brush you use. I dislike the Benefit cream blushes as its in an all too tiny little tube, and its just too hard to apply like that. Now I have tried Stila’s convertible colour, and MAC’s blush cremes and now Becca… its my new obsession.

Darian Avatar

I LOVE them! I definitely prefer them over powder blushes. One of my all time favorite beauty products is Stila Convertible Color in Petunia, a coral pink. It’s absolutely perfect for my fair skin on both my cheeks and dabbed onto my lips!

I just got introduced into cream blushes through the Lillyland collection by MAC. I like it and wish I would of purchased all the blushes instead of just one. But I will probably invest in these MUFE HD ones you recently reviewed.

OK I hold the first 23 posters responsible for cream blushes being added to my forever growing list of MAC products I have to buy when I’m in the US next!! At the moment the only cream blusher (and it’s not one really) is a couple of fits of Benefit High Beam blended with a couple of dots of Benetint. Creates a nice natural glow on my Irish skin!! 🙂

For years,I only used powder blushes as I had extremely oily skin.As I’ve gotten older,I still have oily skin but not as badly as I did when I was younger.I think cream blushes look fresher and I really like Maybelline mousse blushes….great staying power!! They go on flawlessly with a foundation brush.

Mica Avatar

I looooove cream blushes. I usually apply it *under* foundation. It takes a slightly heaver hand than I normally use, but once I put foundation over it, it looks very natural. Of course this only works with a sheer foundation:) I think cream blushes last longer and look more natural than powder.

amelia Avatar

i bought a cremeblend blush from MAC in lilyland and im now hooked!! now if i could just find a brush that works well with them…..

LRW Avatar

Cream blushes look more natural on me than powder, probably because my cheeks are drier..I do layer powder blushes over the cream, just to get use out of them, and have found that they last all day and well into the evening.

Valene Johnson Avatar

I love how cream blushes look and how they blend well, and my favorite is Illamasqua’s Rude blush. The downside to the ones that I have tried are their wear time, which is only about an hour before I need to reapply. This may be just my skin, and how it likes to “eat products” so to speak, but I still prefer the look of cream blushes to powder because I love the young dewy look it creates.

Sarah M Avatar

I love cream blusher. On me, it really lasts all day and the finish is really natural and dewy. I do find that some cream blushes can be quite difficult to work with but it’s totally worth the effort. 🙂

Lana A Avatar

Cream blush looks really nice and natural and you also get a gorgeous finish with a bit of sheen to it. I adore M.A.C.’s Brit Wit – looks scary in the package but gives me the healthiest, most natural flush without any pearl/shimmer/glitter. Some creams can be used as a lip color, so it’s also a multitasker product. It doesn’t last as long as powder or even gel, though.

Aleia Avatar

Nope =( I can’t use cream blushes because I have acne marks on my face. I use my concealer to cover it up and if i put a creamblush over it, its just going to erase my cover up. No cream for me!

Dina Avatar

Love cream blush, alone or under powder. Have several BBs. just got new l/e mary kay and loving it as well-so sheer and pretty. want to try MUFE but need another blush like i need a hole in the head.
