In my opinion, it can feel like a chore but if I find an amazing scented body cream, it’s worth taking the time lol! Looking forward to reading the reccomendations which will probably appear below this post soon :p x
I love how body cream gives me the smoothest feeling before bed time. Wearing only perfume to sleep is such a romantic and sexy thing with a not cracked body. 😛
I use Nivea, and after trying so many brand i can only like Nivea. But Nivea is not cheap, and I use 100ml per month, since i use it every night, and on every corner of my body. Plus i got so addicted to it, one night without it, my skin actually dries to the point that it’s painful. 🙁 Not liking this point.
Love body cream for how moisturizing it is and how good it is for my skin. Hate it for the sweaty feel it gives me in the summer since it is so thick.
I use Nuxe Dry Oil spray or Virgin Vie – ocean – body fizz (which comes in a mousse-style container.)
Both of these those don’t require the laborious act of rubbing in. I’m too impatient (or plain lazy) for body cremes and butters!
If it’s the right body cream, I love how it makes my skin soft and supple, as well as moisturized. I like a fast-absorbing and non-greasy body cream, which is lightly scented.
On the other hand I hate it when the body cream is very greasy to the point where you can feel it melting off your skin. I also don’t like a very thick consistency since it is hard to apply without stretching and putting so much pressure on your skin. I also don’t like it when its very strong scented and over powering.
I am currently using LUSH’s Dream Cream and I absolutely love it!
I really love that “I just shaved my legs” shine that some body creams give, but I can get that with a lotion that isn’t so hard to rub in.
LOVE body creams because their moisture lasts much longer than a plain lotion. BUT i hate it when it becomes to thick or even waxy… ive actually had ones that sort of “pill” up and roll off if i rub my skin after applying. YUCK.
I, too have had some body butter/creams that my skin does not absorb totally and it ends up in little “clumps” all over my body! EEEWWW!!! GROSS! I don’t like body lotions since they are not moisturizing enough. I like a thick body cram/butter but not too thick or waxy so that my skin will absorb it. I make a point of using it after evening bath/shower every day in fall and winter (especially after shaving). In summer, I prefer dry oils. I find most high end perfumed body creams/lotions are not moisturizing at all. I prefer The Body Shop, Bliss, Ojon and Aveda. Of course, they have to smell luscious (it does make the experience and the application more pleasant) 😛
I use Amazing Grace Body Butter by Philosophy. I love it because it’s rich but not waxy or greasy, and the scent is light. It makes me feel pampered all over! 🙂
I used Nivea creme all my life until 2 months ago.It was okay because it kept my very dry skin moisturize but I hated how it feels like esp just after applying it. It’s greasy and it always felt weird to me. Then I decided to try something else, this time, the Body Shop Shea Body Butter. I love, love it. It is more moisturizing than Nivea and it feels heavenly. And the scent, oh it’s lovely…Even my son can’t resist to sniff my skin whenever i put it on:P
One more vote for the Body Shop Body Butters. They have really transformed my skin from dry and scaly to baby soft! My favorite is Moringa!
I have to give another vote to The Body Shop body butters. They are fabulous! Rich, creamy and not greasy at all. Right now I am using the shea butter, cocoa butter and strawberry. I don’t think I will ever use anything else.
I thought I was the only one that was too lazy to use creams! I also really hate the texture, it really freaks me out! So instead I use spray body oil if I can. But I have got 3 more Victorias Secret Pure Seduction Boddy Butters left! These I can deal with because they are a bit moussey!
Viktor n rolf body souffle! amazing scent, and Clinique water therapy! Super amazing
