Joeur Luminizing moisture tint! finally got hold of it and loving it soo much! Zelens skin care is also up there at the top! I have been indulging a lot in skin care products so far this year and nothing has NOT impressed! ๐Ÿ™‚

So I know the ud naked 3 is from last year, but it was out in december, so I’m counting it. It is my everyday palette, and so versatile, and perfect for day to night looks. Also, the anastasia contour kit, so buttery smooth!

Makeup Geek Blushes&Pigments, Too Faced Melted Long Wear Lipstick,YSL Rouge Pur Couture Lipstain,Rimmel Lasting Finish lipstick,Make Up For Ever Face&Body Liquid makeup,CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara

Chanel cream blush in Cheeky
Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Souffle
Bite Matte cream lip crayon
Guerlain Teint Joli
Innarah skincare
Bite Agave lip mask
Sashajuan hair products: the hair paste and dark dry shampoo in particular

Clarins Radiance Plus Golden Glow Booster. I’m not a fan of bronzers or self-tanning generally and tend to embrace my paleness but this product (a liquid that you mix with your face cream) is truly lovely and gives the nicest, most natural bit of healthy colour to my face. Also the Kat Von D Monarch palette and Bite Beauty lipsticks (Vigne and Zin). And a lot of stuff from Sephora – their eyeshadows, lip stain, skinny and jumbo eye pencils….

You know, I have to agree with you on Marc Jacobs “The Siren.” That palette impresses me beyond all belief. I absolutely adore my Electric Palette, and I even use both palettes together, but… I have to say, I think “The Siren” is definitely more special than UD’s Electric Palette. I don’t think I’ve stopped using it since I splurged on it!

Hourglass ambient blush, Sephora pantone lipstick, Dior lip glow and Nars Deep throat blush and Dolche vita lipstick (late to the party), Jergins BB body, Rimmel lash accelerator endless mascara….

Unquestionably the YSL Glossy Stains which I only found out about through Temptalia. These changed my life. OK that might be a bit dramatic, but I really REALLY love them. ๐Ÿ™‚

Too Faced Melted liquid lipsticks, UD Naked Basics palette, Bite Beauty Matte lip pencil and the Maybelline Color Sensational lip glosses!

MUFE HD blushes too, Becca blushes, Nars tinted moisturizer and Sephora’s 12 hours Crayon Jumbo. Don’t even know if they are new things, but are new to me.

I haven’t bough so many new products so far, but I am really impressed by the Sarah Chapman Overnight Facial. It is a wow-product, when it comes to looking fresh in the mornig and gives good hydration. Definately a rebuy-product.

It’s been a great year for products I’ve searched forever to find and some fun new favorites…

Foundation/Powder – Dolce & Gabbana Perfect Finish Creamy Foundation and Perfect Finish Powder Foundation. Both are perfection for my pale, dry, sensitive skin.

Blush – YSL Rue de Babylone (Parisian Night Collection), Clinique Plum Pop, DiorBlush in My Rose, Honorable mention: Hourglass Ethereal Glow and Chanel Innocence

Lips – Almost everything from Bite Beauty as they make some of the most hydrating lipsticks/pencils/glosses out there. Buxom Full-Bodied Lip Gloss (again, so hydrating). AmorePacific Moisture Bound Lip Treatment (expensive, but worth it, as it literally saved my lips over the winter). Also, my one and only Tom Ford Lipstick in Spanish Pink, which is not a new release, but took me years to finally purchase.

Eyes – Chanel Illusion D’Ombre in Epatant, Buxom Hold the Line Waterproof Eye Liner (easy-peasy to work with and it does not budge or smudge once it has set), Clinique Eye Shadows (they nailed the reformulation), Guerlain Maxi Lash Mascara (dethroned my HG Lancome Hypnose Custom Volume).

Apparently, I have been pretty impressed lately. I largely attribute that to regularly reading this and a handful of other beauty blogs that I trust. It vastly cuts down on the number of disappointing purchases and helps me determine which products are most likely to be favorites. Thanks Christine!

I usually buy already existing or priced down products, so none of these are 2014 debuts…
-Terra Naturi Shimmer Body Powder in Golden Highlight – not sure if this is available in every country… but hands down the best drugstore highlight in Hungary… I did not even expect this to be so good – here, most drugstore highlights are really chunky glittery, but this one is not
-H&M’s lipstick and gloss duos – best formula matt lip product (the stick part), I have ever tried, so lightweight and smooth…
-the Leona Lewis blush trio from The Body Shop – at last a nice satin sheen light colored blush

I’ve been loving my Burberry lip Mists and Giorgio Armani lipsticks as well. Sheseido eyebrow pencil is amazing..Becca Lipgloss. And Hourglass ambient blushes.. It’s been a year of high end products that I’ve wanted to try and was on my list for 2014!!!

Kat Von D’s liquid lipsticks!!!!!! I recently purchased The shade “Lolita” and now I want all of the shades!! Her matte lippies are honestly the best I have ever tried. A holy grail product for me at the moment!

Not really new as in came out this year but finally tried and was super impressed by Estee Lauder Double wear light! Also impressed by the wear and definition of MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash and MUFE Smokey Lash Extravagant mascaras. It’s been awhile since I purchased a decent, higher end than drugstore mascara that I felt was actually worth it!! Hard Candy Glamoflauge concealer was a surprise for me as well, really like it for full coverage. All of these items I would repurchase.

I really like the Wet n Wild Fergie lipsticks. I wasn’t expecting much when I finally tried them but the quality is very nice!

Actually–you’re completely right about that. I love the Wet n Wild Fergie lipsticks too! Just waiting on a sale before I collect them all.

I really like the L’Oreal Lash Out Butterfly Mascara–the waterproof version. Super reliable–I no longer have to obsessively glance at my reflection and check whether my lashes have drooped or giving me panda eyes from melt-down.

New products to me that I love include the Bite Beauty line, Burberry eyeshadows, Armani blush, as well as my brushes from Hakuhodo and Chikuhodo!

The Clinique All About Shadows quads – I love the blues and greens range. Also Burberry’s eyeshadow palettes in sage. The Hourglass blushes are fabulous.

Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner pencil (Perversion, Black Velvet) and Balm Stains. Before I would use a stain, very drying, and then a gloss. Now? VIOLA! All in one!

I just discovered Amore Pacific tap on foundation. It is a sponge compact and I just discovered it. I don’t know how long it has been around, but it is lovely. It is light on the skin, it evens out my skin tone and even though my skin is oily, it wears extremely well. It has spf, and I like with or without primer. It doesn’t leave my skin looking flat either, nor does it sink into my lines or pores. It seems to really diminish my imperfections, of which I have a few. I find my skin appears better every time I use it, and the compact is quite nice. It fits in my bag, but I haven yet to have to touch it up. I haven’t found it necessary to finish it with powder either. It is a little spendy, but it lasts quite a long time, I don’t need a lot of product either, so it may be more cost effective in the long run versus the Chanel and UD foundations I have been using.

– NYX Butter Glosses & Lipsticks
– Clinique Cheek Pops
– Urban Decay 24/7 Liners
– Kat Von D Monarch Palette
– Dior Amber Diamond Highlighter

I am thoroughly impressed with MUFE Rouge Artist Natural Lipsticks! I know it isn’t a new product, but it’s new to me because I just discovered it. The formula is heaven for my dry lips: it has the moisture of a balm, the sheen reminiscent of a gloss, and the lasting power I expect of lipstick! I’m so excited to finally have found my holy grail lipstick formula! Now I know why so many people rave over lipstick and prefer it to gloss! ๐Ÿ™‚

hmm….. i really liked that sephora eyeliner set that came out this summer, too faced melted lipstick, everything i’ve bought from bite this year haha… UD electric palette, the siren palette

i reeeealllyyyy want the new makeup geek blushes!

Technically it came out near the end of last year, but Anastasia’s Dipbrow Pomade has impressed me more than anything has in a long time. I can put it on over some eyeshadow primer in the morning, wipe sweat off my forehead all morning in an animal shelter, and still have natural-looking brows at lunch. MUFE’s Aqua Brow was okay, Tarte’s Brow Mousse was better, but Anastasia killed it.

So, I think I might have an eyeshadow obsession. The new palettes I’ve gotten this year have all wowed me. UD Electric and Tarte Be Matte-nificent came out this year, and I got Naked 3 for my birthday, and I really like all of them!

Oh, and the new chrome polishes that Sally Hansen came out with are pretty impressively mirror shiny. (Though they come with all the glorious “show off your nail’s flaws” that I think are inevitable with that kind of finish.)

I’m jumped on MAC bandwagon like way too late, ’cause I always thought that nothing can beat drugstore (some crappy stories with stuff from Lancome, Chanel, etc), I only had some lipliner, but now I am totally obsessed and the best products I found this year that changed my whole makeup thing are: MAC Studio Sculpt Foundie, Sweet as Cocoa blush (I’m NC42 but it’s perfect!), Fix +,
and beyond MAC, Maybelline Strut it Suede Quad & Smashbox Photoready Primer are great!:)

urban decay’s electric palette. hands down. the color combos and pigmentation are incredible and i feel like a glamazon every time i use it. <3

Most of these have been out for a while but these are purchases from this year that have blown my socks off!

Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick, Mally Volumizing Mascara, Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipsticks and the reformulated Maybelline eyeshadows!

I’m including the December 2013 launch of the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette & the Instant Attitude Brow Lift.

My new HG, the Tarte CC Matte palette!โ™ก

My other โ™ฅs:
MAC: cranberry lip liner, riot house lipstick, bijou lipglass, enchanted one lipstick, the Pedro Lourenco Corol blush and Prep & Prime Neutralize.

Sephora Rouge Cream Lipsticks- they are so underrated! their pigment and quality are fantastic. Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour kit is amazing.
Dior Hydra Life BB cream is amazing for the summer, it has great coverage for a BB cream.
Estee Lauder double wear foundation is amazing for the summer in NYC (very humid).
The balm ‘Mary Lou Manizer’ and ‘Betty Lou Manizer’ and was so blown away by the pigment.
MAC retro matte lipsticks this summer (relentlessly red, flat out fabulous) even though they are very drying products, I love this formula!
Maybelline Full & Soft (waterproof) mascara
NYC liquid eyeliner

– Sephora Cream Lip Stain – Always Red (Huge Shocker- but I love it so much, comparable to Stila’s Stay All Day in Beso)
