Amazonian Clay Matte Palette

These colors are so beautiful. They blend so smoothly and are all perfectly matte, never crease. This is a palette that everyone who wears makeup should have! The leftmost vertical row has the 3 colors that I start every one of my eye looks with. And the shade second from the bottom right is the best taupe in the entire world!

i have never been a fan of matte shadows. I always found them too chalky/powdery and sheer. They just didn't seem to work for me. I was searching the internet and saw this a few times and was curious but still skeptical. One day while browsing at Sephora found this palette in stock so I swatched a few colors and I was completely blown away. These shadows are so rich, and can take me from day to night, from the office to dinner, from a casual day on the beach to dancing the night away.

I absolutely love this palette. I have heard several people say they love it and several say they hate it. I find this palette to be blendable and pigmented. I love an all matte eye so its nice that this palette has all matte shades. I can take just this with me and not need anything else for an entire eye look. I never have trouble blending the shadows (though I havent used the black). I love that it has browns and purples. It leans cooler and I usually prefer warm shades but there are a couple shades that are warm so I can throw one of them in to warm up a look. I think everyone should try the palette and see for themselves if its a keeper or not because I feel like a lot of people will overlook this and it could end up being one of their favorite palettes like it is for me! :-)

Matte shadows are often very powdery and dry however with this palette, each color was extremely buttery and pigmented! Swatched beautifully and applied beautifully too. Love that I can make day and night looks both and very well priced for a Tarte palette. Would definitely recommend.
