Per the brand, the eyeshadows in this palette are supposed to be “sheer to buildable” in coverage. Individually, the eyeshadows did not seem bad per se, but in practice, the mattes had a tendency to muddy together quite quickly and did not appear to have as much contrast as a result.
The shimmers also tended to run into each other, as they appeared a bit lighter and quite reflective on the lid but had fallout over time. The formula would work best for someone who would use one shimmer and one or two mattes together.
