It needs to be noted that this was my first high end eyeshadow purchase and that this review is based on experience without an eye primer product.
+ Very versatile
The palette's eyeshadows are buildable, which means that you can get it as intense as you like.
The palette contains five shimmer shades:
A light gold which suits perfect as a highlighter.
A dark blue shade with hints of grey
A pinkish bordeaux
A chocolate brown neutral
One black shade which functions as eyeliner.
You can achieve a neutral veryday look or go bold.
+ Finish and texture
The shades are very creamy and easily blend. The shimmer is subtle.
+ Long wear
I once went to a student party that lasted over six hours in a small, damp cottage and these shades did not crease, streak or fade. They start fading and losing their vibrancy if I wear them for over eight hours.
+ Packaging
I love the packaging, really lovely and looks exclusive. Normaly sponge applicators can result in an uneven an streaky application since they are too hard, but i found these to be made of a lot softer material and therefore resulting in a better application. The way the shades have been pressed is also very decorative.
- The blue shade
For some reason the blue shade is the hardest to blend and is prone to fallout and is a lot more chalky than the others.
