How Rouge is a medium, rosy plum with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish with micro-sparkle strewn on top. It had that type of sparkle that looked pretty in the pan but contributed fallout during application--if any managed to actually "translate" from the brush. When I blended out the edges, stray sparkles dispersed to areas I had no desire for sparkles to me because they just don't mix with the base color and are happy to fly away.
The base color had opaque coverage while the overall consistency was slightly dry and powdery in the pan but blended out evenly along the edges. It wore well for eight hours before fading a bit; there was a stray sparkle over time, too, but little adhered to begin with so fallout was very, very minor.
