Phytosurgence Orchid Overload & Wild Wisteria Flash Florescence Reviews & Swatches
Orchid Overload
Phytosurgence Orchid Overload Flash Florescence Cream Shadow ($17.07 for 0.14 oz.) has a translucent base chocked full of pink, lavender, and silver sparkle throughout that yielded a very wet-looking shine and twinkle. It was described by the brand as having a “translucent base,” so the underlying sheerness was as claimed, and it was designed to be used as a “topper.”
- Semi-sheer, buildable coverage
- Lightweight, thin but emollient enough to spread evenly
- High-shine, wet-looking sparkle
- Long-wearing (10 hours without fading/creasing)

Formula Overview
$17.07/0.14 oz. - $121.93 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to dry down to a "budgetproof finish" that can be applied with "fingers or a brush" that can be used as an "accent colour" or "one and done" whether that's at full coverage or diffused for a "wash of colour."
They are pigmented in a single layer using a fingertip, but they can be built up with a fluffy brush or sheered out with fingertips or a fluffy brush for a sheerer wash of product if desired. The texture was a drier cream initially--very thin, lightweight, and had some emollience but didn't feel wet to the touch. It had about 15 to 30 seconds of working time and then dried down to a powder-like finish that was transfer-resistant.
I found the formula easy to work with as the colors went on evenly, blended out nicely along the edges, and didn't settle into fine lines/creases as they dried down. They wore eight to nine hours on me before creasing faintly.

Wild Wisteria is so utterly beautiful! A super rare shadow that I could do as an almost one ‘n done. Of course, I would still need a browbone, tearduct highlight and possibly something to define my crease. Otherwise, PERFECT.
Are these similar in concept to the CP Jelly Much? I love those and the cream to powder actually works on my oily lids and I get to skip the primer step. It appears like it might be other than the overall formula may be more of a dry cream than a super emollient one like the Jelly Much? If it is I can see myself picking up WILD WISTERIA. That is a gorgeous bright lavender.
Oh no, the texture is sooo much firmer and more like a firmer cream eyeshadow but doesn’t have the wet/watery feel of Jelly Much!
Since my Jelly’s have gotten dryer over time I think I’m comparing them to 6 month old Jelly vs brand new lol. I am curious about this so I’m going to see if it will be worth it to order from the brand for just this one item. I really love that Wild Wisteria!
I haven’t tried a single thing from Phytosurgence I haven’t loved, and considering the quality and small-batch nature of the products, they’re surprisingly affordable! The blushes, especially, have just the most beautiful finishes IMO, and last really well on my combo/oily skin. Thank you for giving the brand more attention!
I’m very keen on the Orchid Overload shade, but not sure if I would like the choc full sparkles though.
