Physicians Formula Brazilian Glow Butter Bronzer Review & Swatches
Brazilian Glow
Physicians Formula Brazilian Glow Butter Bronzer ($14.99 for 0.38 oz.) is a medium-dark gold with warm, almost olive undertones paired with a luminous sheen. It had opaque pigmentation with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that felt soft, dense without being too firmly-pressed in the pan, and blended out easily on my skin. The finish was luminous but did not emphasize my skin’s natural texture. It wore well for eight hours on me before fading noticeably.

Formula Overview

The formula is supposed to be "ultra-rich" and "melt into skin" with a "creamy and soft texture." They are fairly pigmented with soft, smooth, and lightly creamy textures that are denser but not stiff or difficult to pickup or to apply. The powders sit well on the skin with natural, luminous finishes that don't emphasize skin texture. They tended to last around eight hours on me. They have a very strong, coconut scent to them that is apparent while on the face at times.

Obviously I couldn’t wear this, but I think the shade is absolutely stunning. I’m sure people with olive undertones will love this.
Well, at least the quality is beautifully formulated….but I already have an olive undertone and don’t want to accentuate it. That shade is quite green. And in a jaundiced kind of a way.
I started to buy this the other day at Walmart but I brought the bronze sculpting bronzer instead. This might be a pretty highlighter or blush on my complexion. I really like Physicians Formula Dark butter bronzer a lot. One of the few bronzers I’ll wear occasionally.
Wow, this is gorgeous! I’ll probably purchase it even if it clashes with my skin tone!
