I avoid shows like “Bridgerton” in the way some people avoid catching illness, so this is the easiest pass from Pat McGrath. I’m sure the products will perform fine, but no, no thank you. I’ll leave this to the fans.

I’m the opposite. If these kinds of shows were an illness, I’d have a cold year round.

I love love love the packaging, but the colors don’t seem original to me. If these were completely new releases, I’d be all over this collection. Sadly, it seems like the packaging is the only thing new. I’d love to see this pattern on a tea set though 🙂

If sky blue is the new token “put it in every eyeshadow palette”, I’m safe from being tempted this upcoming year. That aside….I love her highlighter pans and would snatch those up if the formula worked on my skin (spoiler alert – it doesn’t).

Also bee imprints on makeup is cute as shit and I’d like to see those make the rounds.

I had loads of fun watching Bridgerton, a show about history as it could have been. Forget what you know and let the imagination rule kind of thing.
I don’t really think the colours are what I would have chosen, the packaging is very pretty though. I wish the dusty purple of the roses on the packaging had been in the palette as a satin eyeshadow instead of one of the red-pink shades.
It’s been a long time since I watched the show, I think it was quite colourful.
I have after seven palettes of various sizes decided that I’m not going to buy anymore eyeshadow palettes from the brand. I hardly ever reach for any of them, and when I do I spend a long time staring at them not being able to decide what to do, and even with wet brushes I get fall down, probably due to my inferior skills.

It’s a romp for sure. If you like this type of bawdiness, which I do in spades, I’m also into the ‘somewhat truthful’ depiction of Catherine The Great in ‘The Great’ on Amazon Prime. Nicholas Hoult and Elle Fanning are so hysterical, but so is the entire cast. Such fun! Maybe Mother Pat will have an upcoming collab.. Lol.

I don’t know – this seems like an out and out money grabcollab to me. I find Pat’s prices just too high to justify, her “pink, pink, red repeat” not to my personal taste and I’ve not watched a single episode of Bridgerton so it’s not tugging at any heart-strings.

Phoebe Avatar

It was such a great opportunity for the brand to extend past pinks and roses and lean deeply into blues. It would have made it such an easy yes. But I look at this and think, “I have all these shades in her formula except for that blue which is too light for me.”

Emme Avatar

Yup – I really want that blue shade but everything else is basically a repeat as I have several of Pat’s palettes already. The trio is underwhelming to me as well. The only thing I think I want is the gold highlighter.

Violet Avatar

I finally jumped on the Pat McGrath train this year, and have really overindulged thanks to her winter sale. As far as these kinds of collabs go, I think this one is lovely, but I’ve bought enough of her pink-leaning palettes to last a lifetime. The blush palette would be tempting if I hadn’t *just* bought the full-sized nymphette. Maybe if the incandescent gold highlighter is still kicking around at a time of deep discount I’ll consider it.

Donna Avatar

I bought on early release the eyeshadow palette/blush trio. Used the code BRIGHTERTON10, but had trouble getting it to work, reading elsewhere others did too. I finally got it working on the third time of coming out of the site and going back in.

Anita268 Avatar

I wondered the same but I don’t see anything about a Sephora release.
I bought the holiday palette from the PMG site and it came in a nice bubblewrap bag inside a giant box with nothing to keep it from smashing around the whole 3 weeks it took to get to me. Needless to say, the bubblewrap bag was rendered useless if the bag could bounce around and the palette came smashed – won’t be ordering another palette from their site.
Weird that this released (and sold out) days ago and there isn’t a single post to be found online. I wonder if it didn’t ship yet.
