I just ordered this in the nude shade and I hope it’s nice as I haven’t seen very many reviews. The swatches I’ve seen look intriguing. Looking forward to seeing how everyone uses these lovelies 🙂

So… I bought it. In Nude. I can’t resist a good highlighter, and if it’s pink and iridescent?? Forget it, take my money. Luckily I will save 10% from my VIB coupon and get 8% back from Ebates, so I think I’m down to around a still ridiculous $60ish. I hope they will re-release the pigments alone and in that case I might consider adding the Fine Gold if the first one blows my mind.

It’s in intriguing product, but I’m well-loaded up on highlighters, so will skip, but hope those who are interested can get their hands on it

Not going to lie; these are a bit pricey for a highlight. But depending on how well they look on and perform, possibly something worth saving for.
Feel a bit angry with myself because I went a bit nuts with UD lipsticks, and the result is that in all likelihood, I will have to wait till June for my TF Honeymoon. Ah, such is life as an easily distractable makeup addict!

I was able to snag both of them when they went up on Pat’s website on the 26th. They are amazing!!!!! It’s gives a glow like you wouldn’t believe. If you can get it from Sephora, I would definitely recommend it. I have nw45/nc50 skin and I’m able to wear the nude very comfortably. Skin 003 is beyond amazing!!!

I got this in Golden last week from Pat McGrath’s website direct. I am wearing it again today and it is absolutely lovely. The highlighter itself is so pretty. It has a great finish; not sparkly, but an actual glow from within. The pressed pigment feels like velvet to the touch. It’s so pigmented too. I caution people to go slow when applying the pigment; it can get really gold really fast. Christine, did you pick them up? Interested to see what you think the dupes are.

I also got mine from Pat McGrath’s site but I got the nude. I will admit I bought it almost entirely because I am obsessed with Pat McGrath and will buy anything she releases. The product itself is lovely and the 3 parts worn layered create a truly stunning highlight. The final effect, however, is something I think you could probably dupe for a lot less $ so how much you want this will really depend on how much you love her. I am certainly going to treasure it in my collection.

Hi, I own both of Makeup Revolution’s strobe balms ($6). I’ve only seen videos and pictures of skin fetish, but I feel like they look almost exactly alike. I think any highlighter powder used over the MUR balms could be a very close or even exact dupe. I’ll have to try to recreate it!

Faith, I haven’t day tested out my Golden yet but after testing Nude, my first thought was that the glow was similar, but less sparkly, than MAC’s Faerie Whispers highlighter in Sparkling Rose. In Golden, based on swatches along, the balm mixed with a tad of highlighter is fairly dupable with Natasha Denona’s Glow or even LORAC’s Daylight if you create a dewy finish.

I ordered this today. I could have ordered it directly from Pat McGrath, but I wanted to wait to get some Sephora points and closer to extending my VIB Rouge. Lol.

They look interesting but are way outside my budget. Another down vote for me is that the sizes are fairly small for the price. I wish it came without the brush for a lower price, too.
Oh well.
I guess if I change my mind later on, I can get one for $650 on eBay (ha-ha.)

OMG! This looks dreamy! I love you the all of it except the price! Man, this is not good for my low buy! I may buckle on this and reward myself with my first promotion paycheck! Christine, are you going to review the 2 shades?

Megan Avatar

I ordered this in nude- I had a hard time deciding between the two colors. I really hope that Pat releases the colors without the brush- surely that would bring the price down! I’m looking forward to your review and swatches, Christine.

This (in Nude) at $72 or the Tom Ford Glowstick in Spotlight at $42? I can’t justify both (and I don’t really NEED more highlighters, but damn, I’m a sucker for a true white highlighter like on my skin). Opinions would be welcome ladies!!

I picked up both and will use them for first time tonight on myself and my daughter for a dance recital. Swatches they r stunning. Love the sequins in the package. Disappointed tho in the overall packaging -the plastic bag isn’t reseable which is just an absurd oversight having now to put sequins someone so they won’t fall out all over the place – lost quite a few digging the products out of the bag. The plastic compact for the powder is absurdly cheap. I was shocked it is thin packaging I didn’t expect sequined or studded but I did expect something better than the same plastic type packaging I’ve seen at the drugstore from $1 wet n wild shadows. Also thin like plastic with the balm stick. The caps don’t seem like they will stay secure after multiple uses pulling on and off as it already has a loose like feel to it when I put it back on the stick. I know it might seem petty to focus on the packaging so but its just disappointing and shocking to hype hand made brushes yet throw the product in unoriginal cheap containers. I realize the product is the star but still could’ve been given more care to put the products in containers that will protect the loveliness that is held inside. Ok sorry for my rant 🙂 Just wanted to vent and note to others so perhaps they won’t be as surprised/disappointed as I was for packaging I love my high end products expecting good formulas and good presentation/protection for the items. But I do look forward to Christine’s review as I always enjoy ur thoughts on any and everything!
