Pat McGrath Rose Decadence MTHRSHP Palette ($65.00) is a new, limited edition six-pan palette that includes two matte shades and four shimmer shades.  With the collection, the new Pat McGrath Divinyl Lip Shine ($36.00) formula launched as well with six shades.  These are all shown below!  There are also two new shades of Astral Lip Fetish and 10 new shades of Lip Pencils (which I don’t have).

Heads up, the collection is available for 10% off with code ROSEDECADENCE10 through the brand’s website (ends 8/16). Sephora also has it in stock now.

The palette swatches look far more exciting than I expected! I just wish the gold had instead been a white gold duochrome instead or bluish lilac duochrome.
Those Divinyls, though! I already love Boudoir Rose, Love Interest and Electric Lotus! And, because masks, I would happily wear Nude Venus, as any smudging wouldn’t be very obvious.

This whole collection is an easy pass for me. The palette will look gorgeous on someone with a deeper complexion than mine, and I’m satisfied with my Divine Rose I & II and Lunar New Year palettes.

The Divinyls are so sheer that four of them look pretty similar on the lips, and the price hike is a turn-off. $36/0.08oz is 33% more than the discontinued Lip Fetish balms ($38/0.12oz).

Will wait for Pat’s seasonal sales to try the new lippies, since they won’t sell out anytime soon.

I love a good sheer color balm in the summertime! I recently purchased a slick Chantecaille balm in Verbena– which I love! But with the event of mandatory mask wearing, my lipstick usage has dropped at least 80%, so I have no current plans to invest in other colors!! It pains me to see a luxury lipstick wasted, smeared on the inside of my mask.

It feels like Pat McG is channeling Charlotte Tilbury lately – everything has been pink and gold for several releases now. I hope she broadens her color palette soon.

Speaking simply from a collection perspective, I think this is beautiful and I was fully expecting to set my alarm and be ready to snap up everything when the time rolled around. I didn’t set an alarm. I didn’t get up until noon after a night of insomnia and found everything still available. I then called my daughter to see if she wanted anything, as she had been drooling over everything also. She decided to pass and then I re-evaluated the cost ratio and decided to pass also. I do think I would use everything but since I love my L’Oreal Colour Riche Shines and they give me the same vibe and cost $7.99 I decided to pass. If the palette is still available down the road I might consider it but even with the 10% early access code and free shipping it was still a crazy expensive palette for 6 shades that while beautiful were not all that unique. I didn’t want the gold, again. Anyway, pretty but overpriced.

I usually love all things PM, but Those lip colors are so underwhelming. They look like they’re for a spring collection and they don’t really match the brand’s color descriptions. I’m glad I waited for swatches and didn’t waste my money.

More pink and red themed palettes….. I can safely say that both Mariella and myself are definately not into this colour story.
I actually thought that the lipsticks are a little too similar to each other, not quite enough shade variation. But I guess as the theme of collection is Rose, they would all be rose shades.

This is what I’ve been waiting for, the real swatches! Thank you, now I can decide. I really wanted to get the palette to use as blushes and highlighter. But thinking is it worth it, when I would only use maybe 2 or 3 of the colors…nah! Mother needs to give us a blush palette, no more eyeshadow palettes please! Think I will pick up Love Interest and Nude Venus ❤️ FYI Sephora is offering $10 off $75 and $20 off $100. Insider Members. Better deal if you’re buying a few pieces.

I capitulated and ordered the palette from PM- on release day. I didn’t know when Sephora would get it, so I jumped in with the 10% off.

I didn’t bother with the lippies but Nude Venus is really pretty!
Amazing how different it looks on you/in your images than on the Sephora site. It looks like a glossier peach/nude with fine reflective particles on the lips, but not on the swatch they have alongside.
Still very pretty though.
