Ohhh yeah! I will wait for a review, but as long as these are the same quality as the larger palettes, I will definitely be buying one of the 2 bronze themed palettes. I am actually really surprised the price ended up so low considering the price of the 10-pan options, maybe these are smaller in weight? I’m not complaining, though! I’ve been wanting to try this shadow formula but the price of entry has been a little prohibitive.

The La Vie En Rose palette looks gorgeous. It’s the one that stands out the most to me. The others, while beautiful, look a bit too similar to the other two palettes that they share their name with. I can definitely see myself getting the last palette. It’s just too beautiful to pass up, and I really do like her formula. I’m kind of excited for this one and I’ll eventually get my hands on her Decadence palette. I’m just waiting for my gift card to come, which hopefully will be in a few days.

I love La Vie En Rose. So far I have managed to resist the PML eye shadow palettes. I have been rather scared to try them for fear I will love them and not be able to resist all of them. That is kind of how I feel about the lipsticks. After wearing the 3 shades I have I really want to just order them all! I am going to try to keep resisting but if this scores well I feel I might be doomed.

I’m down for the cool toned bronze palette. While I like the bright colored one I have the Viseart and also the huda one..so have those shades already. Nice to have a somewhat affordable price. Maybe ND will take a hint.

Now this is a new launch I can get behind. I’d never buy the “full-size” palettes but at this price I’d love to try the very hyped Pat McGrath formula. I’m disappointed they’re limited edition though. That means I probably won’t be able to grab one if I wait for swatches and reviews to be available…

UGH so close but so far!!!
I wish there was just one of duochromes and brights! I don’t need any more neutrals, but those larger Mothership palettes were covetable for those rich jewel tones and unique colors.

Love this!!! I think this is a great way for people who haven’t been able to bite at the 125 price point of the original motherships to try out her shadows! I love that they seem to compliment the namesakes but offer a little more variety. I’ve only gotten to play with a friend’s palette and the darkstar kit I picked up in December, but am absolutely sold on her shadows. They are like nothing else I’ve used in comparison to quality, pigmentation, ease of use – I swear they’ve changed my entire makeup game for the theatrical clients I have. My husband picked up the original Subliminal for V-day for me, but I really vacillated between that and Subversive. I think I might get this Subversive (La Vie En Rose) one because it’s got the bright hues I really like to wear in spring/summer, which would be a well-rounded collection for me while I see what fall brings!

O.M.G. I have been wanting to try PMcG and can’t afford $100+ for her palettes. If these are the same quality as the larger palettes, I will definitely be picking one up. I’m glad to see some of the higher-end/professional brands releasing smaller palettes so that non-professionals and people on smaller budgets can access their quality. Thank you, as always, for the heads-up!

Decadence and Sublime have been burning a hole in my Sephora cart, and now these. ? I’m getting those 2 and Bronze Ambition. I like the idea of coordinated or supplemental palettes. I like Platinum Bronze but I feel like the colors in the Subliminal palette aren’t really my colors, so I may hold off on that one. Thankfully I’ve got time to mull it over.

I think the higher price tag of the 10-pans palettes is due to the presence of the VR shades and to the luxury sturdy packaging. These ones are cardboard. At least there’s a mirror, though. I like only La Vie en Rose, but not for the central shades; instead, I love that upper right pan and the 2 at the bottom. The other 2 versions of these palettes are quite boring. I think I will decide between La Vie en Rose and the ND Lila Palette. If anyone has the Lila and buys La Vie en Rose, please let me know which one do you prefer to use.

Helene Avatar

I just want everything from Pat McGrath. I love the lipstick I have and I want more! I love, love the Decadence palette I wasn’t going to buy, and then bought it within an our after the release.
I am going to buy Platinum Blonde and La Vie en Rose. They look gorgeous. I have a lot of bronze colours so I can skip the Bronze one. If they will sell all thre in a little bundle I’l get all of them, though.

Finally a release that makes me excited! Yay!

Ooh! From the description, the palettes seem like a more wearable collection to her previous ones. I’m totally interested and wondering if finally after holding out for so long if I should finally splurge and get a new palette to play with?

Eira Avatar

Should’ve called them “Daughtership” palettes!!

I’m on the fence about these, minus the subversive. Do I really ‘need’ a wearable colored palette from PMG without all the fancy stuff?

I wish Pat McGrath was cruelty freeeeeee πŸ™ Platinum Bronze looks like such a unique take on neutrals, and these (while still expensive), aren’t nearly so cost-prohibitive. I’d probably (almost certainly) pick one up if they didn’t test on animals. Oh well, my wallet will thank me, and I can only hope there are some close dupes.

MacKenzie G. Avatar

Every cruelty free beauty blogger site I’ve checked has said that they test on animals when required by law, but Pat’s site says she doesn’t ship to China (which is like the only place that requires it) so I’m really confused. Actually decided to go with my gut and get it anyway. Sometimes people are wrong.

She’s opened a way for those not wanting to shell out 125$ to use her products. But other than that, nothing calling me here. I prefer the colors in the most of the marger palettes.

Sarah Avatar

I kind of wish she’d come out with a matte eyeshadow palette. While I have nothing against shimmer, it’s not ideal for everyday wear to work or school. :/

Dominique Avatar

I love the look of all of these especially the La Vie En Rose. I think it would be really cool if she came out with single shades you put in a Z palette. What if she released 5 or 6 singles of the duochrome shadows and 5 or 6 the very intense metallic pigments.
