Pat McGrath Decadence Back in Stock?! (Now Out of Stock as of 9AM PT!)
This morning, I woke up to a tweet from reader Swathi that they saw Pat McGrath’s Decadence Mothership Palette on Sephora as in-stock and that it could be added to cart… felt like a dream, but the palette is currently available to sale. I couldn’t find it via the mobile app, but I was able to find it on the full website (link here). I can confirm that it can be added to cart and you can check out with it as I purchased one (I mean, I had to take one for the team and test, right?), so we shall see if it ships and this really isn’t a dream… 😅

Thank you Christine for the heads up! This Mothership Palette was the only one out of the larger pat McGrath palettes that I was missing. Just ordered it and can’t wait to hopefully receive mine. I will finally feel complete, until the next one releases, lol!
If I’m kicking myself later, remind me of this post.. I think between my other PMG palettes and singles I purchased since I missed out on this one first time around, it is safe to take a pass???? ?

I missed out. I think it will be released again. I plan on getting 3, one for me and each of my stepdaughters. I’m okay at the moment with the mini five pans though so I’m not kicking myself.
I don’t get why makeup houses do this. They have to know there is demand. I refuse to purchase anything from Urban Decay after getting rid of the OG Naked. The only palette I replaced 3x.
As for PMG, this is part of her Mothership collection. I don’t get her holding back. I don’t have III but am warming to the idea of it after my next destash.
I don’t get it either, Tropical Cowgirl. It’s like she’s toying with what she undoubtedly knows are many a fan’s lemming for the Decadence Mothership Palette. It just feels wrong to me. Why not just make it permanent? As it stands, I’m also going for the III, because I know I’d use it the most out of all of them.

I absolutely agree that this is such a popular item it makes sense to bring it back periodically or just make it permanent. The people who want it can get it, the brand makes more money, win-win!
However, as a general note, I would say that for items that did come out as LE to bring it back too quickly or make it permanent would also bring complaints from the people who bought it with the first launch. People made the buying decision with the knowledge that the item is LE so it’s annoying to say the least when brands pull the “We said it was LE but just kidding! It’s bACk bY PoPUlaR deMAnD!!” (especially the brands that do the LE release fully intending to launch the item as permanent almost immediately).
I do hope that there will be more stock and everybody who wants this palette will be able to snag it this time around! Fingers crossed for everybody!
Crap, missed out on that one by a long shot. Being an insomniac and living on the West Coast means I miss out on early morning releases unless I know about them in advance.
Given how popular this palette is, I will hope that the brand will create some more to be released shortly for all those who have missed out.

I’m SOOOOOOO SAD! If this article had shown up this morning in my feed I could have bought this! I have been searching for this palette since mine was stolen on me and it was out of stock. I signed up for alerts on this palette when it went out of stock last year but I never received a alert saying it was back today. I could just cry. This is literally my all time favorite eyeshadow palette ever. 🙁
To the writer of this article would you be willing to sell yours to me? Pretty please… can’t blame me for trying. Bet I’ll see 80% of those who were lucky enough to purchase this selling them on eBay, Poshmark or wherever for 2 to 3 or more times the price. 🙁 sadly I can’t do that. Uhg. I’m so bummed out. I need this palette back in my life.

I just went through so many emotions reading this and all the updates and am currently crying over my broken heart.
So, like many others I became aware that it was posted when I saw on IG and missed it by about 1/2 hour. Not sure how I feel about it now. I have wanted it since it was everyone’s favorite palette from PMGL but this only releasing a few here and there is rather disappointing. I guess I will add my name to the wait list on Sephora and then decide when it is released again. It is encouraging that they are taking a wait list/email notification.

Definitely! In my experience, sometimes teams aren’t always in the know, so here’s hoping there’s more info to come, but that’s the answer I got!
FYI, I called Sephora customer service last night regarding the price change (now 1/2 price). They gave me a store credit of $62.50! Maybe I just got a generous CSR but you may want to contact them if you paid full price. My palette is scheduled to deliver today. Yay!
