If you had one hour to spend one-on-one with a brand, which brand would it be?

Maybe Tom Ford or Chanel, just because I’d love to see the behind-the-scenes of really high luxury brands.

Too Faced, I love their vision for products and girly design aesthetic. Or Hourglass, simply for the innovation! To go BTS would be so interesting and enlightening.

Chantecaille, Laura Mercier, Trish McEvoy becausy their owners seem to be interesting people with their own idea about makeup. Tom Ford, Chanel, Cle de Peau, Suqqu- just curious why do they discontinue the best products or make them limited editions. Paying 3-4 times the price on ebay becomes annoying. And how do they decide what to launch? Sometimes I see no practical value in new products, crazy colors or formulas. How much are they led in their decisions by being seen as a modern thinking brand vs. what consumers really want/can wear?

I think I’d pick between Bite Beauty, Tarte, Illamasqua, Hourglass or Chanel! I think that sounds kind of all over the place, and that’s not exactly one brand haha. I think Chanel would be my #1 overall pick! 😀 It’s classic yet innovative, and covers all kind of beauty & fragrance.

Urban Decay. I’d ask what the hell they were thinking with that Vitamin B spray. That product is one part beneficial, 10 parts irritant and 20 parts water. What an insult, UD. Using the placebo effect to scam your “valued” customers. Shame.

Wow, that is a hard hard decision. Quite possibly Guerlain. I love their perfumes and many of their cosmetics but I’d use my hour to tell their color directors to change their foundation lines to include more skin tones both super pale and super dark. I feel they do great shades for NC 20 – NC 35 ish but nothing else.

Bobbi Brown needs serious feedback. They have had little collections this year and they continue to pick only 1 spokesperson(Katie Holmes and then Kate Upton) who look best with a simple nude look. The need more collections, product colors and someone that has versatile face that can pull of different makeup looks.

Are we shopping for free for an hour, or doing an interview with it?

Interview sit down 1 hour: 1. Charlotte Tilbury, because I want inside the head of a sex crazed booby blush creator! Like, you don’t? 2. Urban Decay: I want to drill them about their formulations, item color names, and encourage much better! Also, Chanel and is so iconic, it would be an honor to sit down and go through their incarnations! Other: Chantecaille, because I really respect them, and Tom Ford: I’ve never gone that route so it would be a learning experience laden with samples, I’m sure! 😀 And Fendi: I want to find out why they discontinue their best fragrances after releasing them.. >!<
One hour Spree, grab all you want: Tom Ford and Chanel! Chantecaille!! 😀 Burberry..
Obviously I'm having difficulty with choices. 🙂
