OCC Poison Loose Colour Concentrate
OCC Poison Loose Colour Concentrate
OCC Poison Loose Colour Concentrate ($12.00 for 0.088 oz.) is described as “primordial forest green.” It launches tomorrow as part of the brand’s fall/winter collection. Poison is a sultry, smoked out forest green with a dark, blackened base with hints of brown around the edges all finished in a frosted, metallic shimmer-sheen. Whether it’s used wet or dry, I had great results: rich color payoff and a smooth application. I absolutely love with a loose eyeshadow works as well dry as it does wet; to me, that is the mark of a truly excellent formula and overall product. Â The closest colors I could think of were Inglot #414 (lighter, appears almost teal-tinged) and Make Up For Ever #80 which is closer in color but less metallic.

How do you compare it to Sugarpill Junebug, instead? It was the first similar colour that occourred in my mind when I saw the swatches 🙂
Totally different! http://www.temptalia.com/sugarpill-cosmetics-chromalust-loose-eyeshadow-reviews-photos-swatches
Thank you so much for this! This was the color I was most interested in, and it looks wonderful.
Ooh, this is going on my shopping list!
How close is this to MAC dark indulgence, from this year’s mineralize collection?
Way different – http://www.temptalia.com/mac-semi-precious-mineralize-eyeshadows-swatches-photos-reviews-part-3
Gorgeous colour but to me, it looks pretty close to Mac’s Moonlight Night, which I have and won’t finish up in 3 lifetimes! (I haven’t even finished my sample yet, let alone made a dint in the full sized jar). I’m not mad for loose shadows but always cave because of irresistible colours. Since I have Moonlight Night and I don’t think I can even get OCC products, I’ll pass on this one!
Mac’s Moonlight Night came to my mind too, when I first saw this! 😀
I neeeeed this! So pretty 🙂
It reminded me of MAC Deep Blue Green at first but I will need to check the swatch gallery.
not even close to deep blue green. this is a blackened emerald.
I don’t own it but I found the swatch I was thinking of…not a dupe though.

This color is so pretty. Definitely the one out of the collection that caught my eye first.
Love that it seems like you’re doing more indie brand reviews these days (OCC’s tars, Cult Nails)! I prefer them a lot of the time, even if it can be harder to get the actual products. I feel like these kinds of brands have greater freedom with their color range, and that can be really exciting! Plus samples are like my kryptonite…little bags of shiny happiness! Spending the same amount of $ that I would pay to get a full size but getting more colors? Yes, please 😀
wow, yum yum
Oh I love this color and I know I’d wear it as an eyeliner wetlined at the very least. I love it. Would love to see some looks with it used in a smoky eye!
would u say this is similar to MAC forest green pigment?
This color is identical to Milan Mineral’s pigment Bragadocious. It is much cheaper too.

I’m not usually drawn to loose pigments(after an accident with an open pot when I wore BareMinerals long ago!),but this color is absolutely gorgeous!!
