Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Fragmented Alice Collection for Fall 2013
Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics reveals full ‘Fragmented Alice’ Colour Collection, a collaboration with renowned Symbolist painter Gail Potocki. San Diego Comic Con attendees were able to get a sneak peek of the limited edition collection via ‘Fragmented’, which not only to commemorated OCC’s debut at Comic Con but was also the debut of a brand new Lip Tar texture that blends the glossy transparency of Stained Gloss with the high impact sparkle of Metallic.
‘Fragmented’ will now be available to the public as a part of the ‘Fragmented Alice’ collection, to be released alongside three new Loose Colour Concentrates and two new Nail Lacquers. All products in this collection were inspired by Gail Potocki’s latest series of paintings, “Fragmented Alice” — her uniquely macabre take on Alice in Wonderland.
Gail Potocki gives us the inside scoop on this collaboration, “I’m thrilled with how Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics translated my work into the collection. The colors are a great balance between psychedelic and haunting. This collection is a gorgeous extension of my paintings and a unique way for others to physically inhabit the universe of ‘Fragmented Alice’.”
“OCC has never seen boundaries between art and makeup, and this same transcendence of perceived artistic boundaries is present in the ‘Fragmented Alice’ paintings,” says David Klasfeld, Founder and Creative Director of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, “we couldn’t be more honored to partner with an artist as visionary as Gail Potocki.”

I’m a deep skin tone NW 45 unless a green is REALLY vibrant it doesn’t look good on my skin AND I’m still learning to work with loose pigments. As far as the lip tar, I’ve refused to buy them out of personal choice. I love the colors but I NEED an applicator on the tube. I has “no time for” using a brush to apply it, and I refuse to apply lip products with my fingers (even clean hands are dirty #nurseproblems) Again that’s just MY preference
Interesting shade, not really sure I can pull it off. 🙂 The girl in the illustration kinda looks like Kristen Stewart.
I thought the SAME thing when I saw the pic! lol
YES!!! I did a double take when I saw this pic haha I thought it was her too
I could never pull it off, but massively in love with that lip tar!
I am wondering if that tar looks like MAC’s discontinued Squirt. It was the prettiest shade – it applied as a shade of honey. I have been looking for a dupe.
Is it just me or does that girl in the painting look sort of like Kirsten Stewart? I doubt that was the intention, but, DAYUM, in my mind, that’s Bella with green lipstick on.
It really does look like her. 🙂
Inflicted looks gorgeous.
Pretty LCC shades though I don’t know how I would mix this particular Lip Tar shade…
i would try the lip tar. i also really love the ad for this collection; i’m so drawn to it.
I feel the same!
I’m curious what “Patinaed red/lavender” means. Red and lavender are very different colors!
If you look at the photo of red/lavender, it looks like a grey that has been make with a bit of red in it and lots of white. 🙂
The Lip Tar reminds me so much of Illamasqua Shoot, but with the shimmer.
