I love Benefit’s Creaseless Cream shadows and while 2 of the shades are not new and are colours I already have, I will be keen to see Holy Smokes. I only have one of their powder shadows but it is so good that I’ll probably check out those as well – Thanks a Latte and Quick, Look Busy (what a great name!) both sound appealing. Hell, who am I kidding? Most of them sound like shadows I’ll want to check out!

I’m excited for new Creaseless Cream Shadows! I bought the Most Glamorous Nudes box and the creams are some of the best I’ve used. I use them as a base almost daily, and alone on days I want something subtle. They last forever and are so easy to blend!

$20 for a single is kind of pricey for a mid-end product.

Also, can I say that that white lipstick tube reminds me of the plastic bar that you put your toilet paper on…plus I hate it when you can’t fully retract a lipstick since then you might accidentally nick the bullet when you take off/on the cap.

I would have loved to seen the Creaseless Cream Shadow reformulated version of the Slippin n Dippin as the original one crease and faded on me like no ones business but I adored the shade.

The cupcake paper cup packing is just to cute!

This is awesome. I really like the no pressure cream shadow it’s the perfect taupe and I was worried when I ran out the World Famous palettes would be gone. Really love the thanks a latte shadow too.

All the colors from my World’s Sexiest Nudes palette, which I adore! I think all the new shades are from the World’s palettes, so if there’s anything here that sounds interesting you might want to check those out instead!

I love the Art Deco packaging – very colourful, and would look great on any dressing table 🙂
By the way, Christine, will you be reviewing the World Famous palettes at any time?

The packaging looks cute, but it looks really clunky and unnecessary, too. I guess I have to see it in person! I’m looking forward t their powder eyeshadows, though. I wanted some from the old range.

I like to boxes they come in…. kind of a vintage feel. But the plastic packing that the product is in…. not a fan. I do like benefit products but I’m not wowed by this collection yet. I’ll have to check it out again when you have swatches/reviews up.

This collection is so beautiful! The only problem is that where I live Benefit is ridiculously expensive so I need to wait until the summer to go and get this collection from Canada… Is this collection limited edition?

Not really loving the new packaging. Just too much plastic and semi tacky. Ugh I hate how they raised prices on the eye products. I know it’s not by that much but when you buy several of these items it adds up. Does this mean the ultra plush glosses that are out right now (BellaBamba, Dandelion, Hoola, etc) will be discontinued? I’ve noticed the ultra shine glosses have disappeared from my local sephora. 🙁

All the glosses are still available online, so I doubt they’re being discontinued? Also, every makeup company raises prices pretty much every year 🙁 MAC’s really bad about it, but most of them do it.

Does this mean they’re discontinuing the rest of the cream eyeshadow colors? Or are they just putting out a new collection of them? and the old ones are still gonna stay?

Right now, reading about this new collection, I’m torn. I like that they are trying to offer something new, keeping their style, but the new packaging remind me a tad too much of old plates my grandma used to have. It’s a bit too vintage for my taste. I wonder if the new glosses are more pigmented then the ones they launched last year. I found them pretty sheen for my taste.
If I might give a try to the eye shadows and glosses, I don’t think I’ll put lipsticks on my wishlist. The packaging doesn’t appeal to me at all! It looks like some (more) fancy drugstore chap stick, if you ask me…

The new packaging is absolutely awful. I was such a fan of the old packaging! I am wondering if the velvet eyeshadow line is being discontinued, do you have any information on that Christine? If so, I would be really disappointed, and will purchase the few colors I do not own before they are gone.

The packaging is so very vintage. They did this spot-on!

My one concern is that it may feel ‘cheap’ compared to something like Paul & Joe, who do this type of makeup packing very well…

As soon as I saw this I thought to myself, “Trying to imitate Paul & Joe.” Unfortunately, the packaging isn’t as cute as P&J and it’s just a sad knock-off. And I doubt Benefit’s quality has improved. But the masses will eat this up, I’m quite sure of that. Benefit is like a pyramid scheme, and their whole gimmick is packaging.

I really love Benefit, it’s one of my favorite makeup lines, but this just doesn’t scream gotta have it to me. It seems like products and colors I already have but I really can’t say for sure until I see it in person.

I love the new packaging! very cute and vintage-like. the majority of the creaseless cream shadows and all of the new longwear powder shadows were included in benefit’s world famous neutrals eyeshadows kits (exclusive to sephora), two of which I have, so I’ve tried most of them…have to say they perform amazingly well! So excited that they’re making some of the new creaseless cream shadows permanent (love the shade my two cents as a base for a gold-themed eye look) =D

I think the packaging is really cute. It doesn’t quite go with the rest of my high-end compacts or lipstick cases, but I’m not against diversity and might pick up a few items. I have the Easiest Nudes palette and I love it so much I’m thnking about getting the other two, so it’s good to know those products will be available in a full size! I will be curious about the lip color when we get more info on it, too. I’m not a huge fan of the Ultra Plush glosses–they’re a bit sheer for my taste.

I’m so glad you posted about this! I’ve been wanting to gain some more knowledge about these. Do you think this means that such Creaseless Cream’s as Strut and Stiletto won’t be available anymore? Since they weren’t re-vamped?

I have a big weird “thing” against Benefit. I used to like them, thought the packaging was cute etc, when I realised the products of theirs which I owned were pretty crappy and it was JUST the packaging talking. The girls who work for Benefit are usually bitches, dunno why. Also, when I go to Sephora I can ask for a sample of any foundation, even the most expensive ones, but I have always been denied a sample from Benefit. No and no, they tell me. Well, screw you then! This packaging was probably made because they aren’t selling well and wanted to make something “new”. Well, it’s not new. It’s a BAD replica of Paul & Joe, and like someone already wrote, many Asian drugstore brands have packaging like this. This collection is called “colour”? I see no colour, just boring “nude” shades. This makes me dislike Benefit even more.

I totally agree with Madii. I’m completely turned off Benefit. Any product I’ve ever bought from them has turned out to be overpriced crap. You’re paying for the ridiculous cardboard boxes. Lip products, concealer, highlighters, stains, cream shadows, you name it. Every single one has been a massive disappointment. Avon makes better products than Benefit, for a fraction of the price!

“Overpriced crap”? That’s a bit harsh….Maybe you just don’t know how to use them correctly. Everything works differently for everyone, but I find that many of their products are good quality and it shows when many other people feel the same. Also I just want to add that cardboard packaging is cheaper to produce than plastic, so you’re not paying any extra for the packaging. By the way, the only permanent products that Benefit makes in cardboard boxes are their blushes, with the exception of a few kits.

I saw the packaging and I have to say I hate it. Yes, the design is cute (although I prefer the retro pin up style they used to have) but the new packaging in terms of material is AWFUL. It´s all cardboards and the containers of the cream shadows now are hard plastic instead of glass. Also, the new shadows colors are so normal… All the shades are in the range of brown color with the exception of a couple of colors like grey or lilac. Benefit is so dissapointing lately…

I want to like Benefit, but I have to admit I’ve found most products I’ve tried disappointing – particularly given the price point. I did love the old creaseless cream shadows, and velvet eyeshadows, but was never a huge fan of Benefit’s color story. I really like the new box packaging, but that’s just a box. It’s not the product. The actual product, as far as I can see, looks kind of clunky and Wal-Mart-y. And I don’t want to think about what that white plastic on the lip products is going to look like after living in handbags and pockets for a few weeks.
