New! Giorgio Armani Eye & Brow Maestro for September 2014
Giorgio Armani Eye & Brow Maestro
EYE & BROW MAESTRO is the first Giorgio Armani Beauty eye shadow cream. Inspired by backstage makeup and developed using cutting-edge technology, Eye & Brow Maestro can be used as an eye liner, eyeshadow or eyebrow pencil. It can even sculpt the face or be used to color the hair line.
A new way of seeing makeup, Eye & Brow Maestro is an innovative, multi-use product that changes the rules of makeup. Linda Cantello and Giorgio Armani Beauty laboratories drew their inspiration from hairdressers and colorists. Colored glass and mica pearls, used as pigments, and translucent pearlizers are modeled after the glossy shine and translucency from hair coloring.
“It’s the colors and texture that make this genuinely multi-usage product special. All shades can be used on eyebrows, hair, and Eye &Brow Maestro shade 5 as contouring,” explains Linda Cantello.
The results are amazing and incredibly innovative. There are nine shades that look like something out of a hair salon – subtle, slightly iridescent tones of blond, dark blond, light brown, brown and even auburn. A gorgeous gold shade was also added for evening sophistication.
At last, women have an all-in-one makeup product that amplifies the natural beauty of their eyelids and their eyebrows, is easy to work with and has real staying power with a waterproof formula lasting 20 hours. Eye & Brow Maestro reinforces the natural beauty of the eyes in one gesture. Expression is enhanced, emotion is stronger and presence is magnified.

Interesting! Now let’s see if these will indeed be the amazing multi-taskers Giorgio claims they’ll be 😉
What the….. I hadn’t read (or seen) a thing about this new product. Wow! If this delivers what it says it will, this will be that one product that will solve a multitude of issues. I understand the brow, eyeshadow, contour application but this can be used in the hair??? What exactly does this (pomade-ish consistency?) do for hair? This is most intriguing and looking forward to your swatches and comments, Christine.
I’m guessing it’s for those pesky stray grays some of us older gals get, that seem to pop up weeks before we have a chance to touch-up.
If that’s the case (to cover those pesky grey strays) then hook me up!
This is really intriguing! I love this kind of innovation – it’s a new take on “multi-use” products (other than the standard lip-blush combo). They make big promises for this product, so I hope they deliver!
If I dye my hair any more red, I know what brow product to buy!
I bought it a week ago and I love it for my brows, at work one of my collegues complimented me on it
I am really looking forward to your review of these, Christine. Saw the video today. They look nice!
If the “Black” truly is black, I may just have to try it. I’m also interested in the one that can be used as a contour.
Leave it to Armani for something really different! Looking forward to your rev iew!!!
These look interesting! I hope we get to see swatches 🙂
Mostly, I want to get the gold and walk around wearing Midas brows, but I guess I could try that with the Bold Gold Color Tatto from Maybelline first 😉
Well well. I’ll just have to check these out and see if they do what they claim. High hopes Armani..!!!
This is one of my favorite new releases in a long time! I purchased 03 (Red/Ajacou) and haven’t even thought of my other brow products ever since.
@Helen- This is supposed to be a root cover-up, from what I understand.
I will admit that you almost do need to buy the brush to really take advantage of the product. I’ve been struggling with my Anastasia Beverly Hills brushes since I haven’t wanted to lay out the $$$ for the brush. But this is such a great release!
I purchased medium brown and gold and they just arrived today. Gorgeous colors, can’t wait to try them!
Kudos for them being redhead friendly. Would these feel sticky in your eyebrows? I’ve only used pencils and powders.
I have no idea about these, but my Maybelline Tough as Taupe cream eyeshadow has worked well and not felt sticky.
Thanks, Jane. That’s good to know. These say they have a pomade-type consistency, so I think that’s encouraging. Maybe I’ll check out the Maybelline cream shadow for something that’ll work on me.
I must say these sounds very interesting. I still have to find an eyebrow product that will look at least half OK. I’ve been thinking of trying the Anasatsia browgels (Dip Brow someting???) But if these work out half as well as they say I’d rather get one from GA. The reason might be weird, but the GA counters are weel kept, clean and easy to navigate. The Anastasia ones a lot lsee so, quite sloppy and it’s hard to find what you want. Probably just here, though. 🙂
They sound like like products which would be useful for multi tasking. Will definitely purchase one, always tempted to try new products. Hoping it or they will be a useful addition to my ever expanding make up collection.
“A gorgeous gold shade was also added for evening sophistication.” I understand that these are multi-tasking, but since I am most interested these for use on the brows, I got a little giggle out of this sentence. I would think gold eyebrows might be a little too outré to be sophisticated.
For use as subtle brows, the grey or light blond (which looks kind of green to me) seem worth an investigation. I have such dark but sparse brows that I hesitate to use my actual color; they end up looking very late Joan Crawford-esque (with my deepest apologies to the fabulous actress and late Ms. Crawford!).
Ooooh, I’d love a taupe-grey that was an eyebrow color, a contour and an eyeshadow all in one!
I’m imagining a look where you picked the color closest to your hair then did your brows and lids with it…. I’m trying to decide if it’d be avant garde, creepy, or striking.
I’m going to need a redhead to try it out for the most precise decision making.
I received shade 2 a little while ago and am loving it. I find the iridescence is not loud at all, but rather that it gives a much more realistic finish versus other potted products. Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade, for example, looks practically painted on due to the product’s matte finish, whereas this Armani product emulates the natural shine of brow hairs. Love, love, LOVE it.
I’m curious about this product – how can you use on your hair?? Are we gonna see gold eyebrows around?
