Natasha Denona I Need a Nude Lipstick Swatches
Natasha Denona I Need a Nude Lipstick ($25.00 for 0.14 oz.) debuted a month or so ago with 18 shades that are categorized by undertone (there are four). You’ll find swatches of all of the shades in this post!
I totally don’t need a nude, but I am definitely interested! I’m hoping to be able to swatch these in-store. What do the undertone codes mean?
Available in 4 distinct undertones:
Beige- Nudes with a Beige undertone, suits neutral, warm, and red skin tones.
Neutral Beige- Nudes with a Neutral Beige undertone, suits all skin tones.
Neutral Pink- Nudes with a Neutral Pink undertone, suits all skin tones.
Pink- Nudes with a Pink undertone, suits warm and yellow skin tones.
This is so helpful. Thank you! 🙂
THANK YOU Christine.
I’ve been waiting for these swatches – thank you, Christine! I’m neutralcool skin tone but swatched Sava on my lips in store and it’s the perfect warm pink on me. I loved the texture also.
Thank you for swatching all of these! I swatched some in the store and they don’t really look like the online ones.
Well, hopefully mine are a little closer to real life, LOL!
Now, Averyl, Sami and Jennifer are my favorites of the bunch for my med-olive coloring, even though I consider Averyl to be straight up pink, not nude. These would be fabulous “nudes” for me, I believe.
I also love the two deepest shades, as well! I’m so glad to see “nude” options for those who are very dark or rich complected instead of just pale beige types of “nude” shades that many brands issue as such.
I agree. I’ve always thought of “nude” as being more of a concept than a color when it comes to lipstick shades.
I love that these are categorized by undertone! I have a neutral to warm undertone, but my lips are naturally pigmented and that pigmentation has a cool undertone, so it’s really helpful to figure out what shades will play it up or tone it down.
It never occurred to me that my lips could have a different undertone than my skin, which may explain why I have such a hard time finding shades that work. Thank you for the insight.
Like the look of these colors! They don’t seem to smooth lips as much as I personally prefer but the color selection seem to spot on. Will keep an eye out. The price point is better than I would have guessed.
I am not quite sure whether we need more ‘nude’ lipsticks in the market, but these do look pretty good. The shades I like the best are Sami and Naya.
I got Jeaniffer and I just the formula! It’s very different than the other lipsticks I have. The formula is very moussy-feeling
Definitely interested in Alison and Jenifer. ther expensive bit not as horribly priced as other high-end lipsticks. Most ‘NUDES’ lipstick shade makes me look dead and not flattering, so something pink toned but warm is calling me. 😉
Lovely nudes, and it’s really cool that they’re organized by undertone. That should be helpful to a lot of people.
Well shit. I’d made some proclamations about not purchasing more lipstick, but I’m such a sucker for a good brownie nude. I think my *new* goals will be to not purchase lipstick blindly online. That should still cut my spending down a bit, buuut if these come to my local sephora where I can swatch them in person…..
Michelle, Allison, Judith, Claudia, Jennifer and Yana all look like they’d work for me. As I can’t swatch in a store yet, I’ll have to wait to the review to decide further.
