Natasha Denona I Need a Nude Eyeshadow Palette is the newest Midi palette from the brand. I’d describe it as more of a rosy/peach-themed neutral palette that is lighter and more desaturated compared to something like the brand’s Biba palette. It didn’t read nearly as cool-toned as the promotional photos made it seem like (which I read as a bit more taupe-ish).

If this had been as cool toned as the preview images made it seem I would have been all over this. As yet another warm-peachy-rose palette, meh.

I’m disappointed. The first images (from ND, rather than the more reliable ones from Christine) made this look far less pink, far more taupe and cool, more brown toned and saturated shades. I’ve really no interest in this, based off what I’m seeing here. This is all I need to stop me craving this palette.

I really like this palette – even though it has more mattes than Glam. I still think I am going to get this one because all the shimmer shades are the ones I use.
The swatches look very promising and I hope it is up to Natasha’s usually excellent standards.
For all the cool toned fans, it will probably be a bit of a disappointment.

You’re right about the “disappointment” factor – I was not expecting something this pink-heavy from those original promo pics and I see I’m not alone on the Disappointed Bench! I’m surprised you like this as much as you do – I thought Kira, Elizabeth and I would have to shove over to make room for you! I’m sure you’re pleased that there’s not a matte black shadow in this one since they seem to be ubiquitous in larger (and some smaller) palettes.

So pretty but I suspect I can dupe it in my stash. I’m not going to look at it bc my ability to resist is low and it is still tempting.

Womp womp womp! I’m SOOOOO DISAPPOINTED in this palette. Peachy mattes aren’t something that looks good on my face. I expected a more cool toned neutral palette like on ND swatches and photos and what I’m seeing here is completely different and very warm. I was so excited about it and was going to buy it, but now I won’t. Money saved, I guess.

When I first saw this I thought I would definitely be buying it. I thought it was going to be a cool tone lovers dream. Not so much. There doesn’t seem to be much difference in many of the shades and I imagine they are going to read similar on the eye. After seeing these swatches I sent the link to my daughter because I thought she would really love this. She is very warm toned and likes these shades. She took one look and said no thanks. She has so many of these same shades. I am sure given that ND palette quality is usually quite good, those that purchase this will be happy with it but I know it won’t be me.

I love this color story As an everyday palette and a special occasion palette. I might be in minority but I still love it even though it’s different than first promo pictures. I am getting it.

I find it compliment Glam and My dream palette the two Natasha Denona palettes I have.

After seeing these swatches, and others from reviewers, it looks like there is not enough shade variety/depth to make more than a couple of looks. It is also more warm toned than expected/advertised. As much as I love the ND formula and am interested in the new finishes here, I don’t think I can justify buying this palette, personally.

Im not sure what Im missing here. I received my palette yesterday. I don’t find it too pink nor too warm. Never owned the Biba palette, but I have purchased Lila, Sunrise,My Dream, Zendo, Sunset, and several of her minis. (I seldom spring for the Neutral palettes.
I really like this one! I like ratios of mattes to shimmer and wet finishes!

Received mine, and now I understand why the first promo photo appeared on Chinese app. It is definitely not cool toned but is muted warm pallet, in fact with very few deep shades. A lot of like K-beauty pallets, I would say maybe a tiny bit warmer than most of them, but I see the target audience now 🙂
Kinda sad though, would it be as cool as on promo photos it would do way better, though I still like it. Saw the other day, that she has taupe pallet in plans, so maybe it would be it.

This is one of Christine’s fortes. Telling it (showing it) as it really is. The promo pix, plus Isabella/Muse make it look cool leaning at best. To be fair, Muse has promo pix……. I thought this would have some similarity to CP stone cold fox. Nope. I thought CP didn’t know the meaning of cool, but ND is further off the mark. I do think this would be useful and fun for Genevieve.

Jane Avatar

Definitely Christine’s super makeup powers! If I had ordered it based off of the ND photos, I would have returned the palette. In addition, her colors always look darker on me, so I would have been doubly disappointed that I had a warm, peachy, muddy palette.

Latika Avatar

I think all of these would look grey on me- Her palettes have not appealed to me at all it a long time. I love my gold and biba palettes and I think i want the lila- i used to have star & sunset- i bought the bronze palette but it made me mad because it was really an orange palette/ glam just all looked the same on my lids / I am passing on this one

Michelle Avatar

The pellet is called nude and the colours are neutral. I don’t think this was supposed to be a cool pallet. The pellet is not warm. It is neutral.

CL Avatar

I like this. Only two are warmer-toned than I would like. (I really wanted a cool-toned palette.) However, I think I have dupes for most of the rest, so I’m pretty sure I’m not going to be getting this one.

Dolores Avatar

If this palette’s colors were placed in a Pat McGrath palette , I’d say it’s a PMG palette all over again. This palette does appeal to me because those colors are flattering on just about anyone. It reads ‘mainstream’ rather than ‘indie’ or unique. What I’m surprise about is this palette came out hot on the heels of her Yucca palette, almost back to back! I did cave in and ended up buying the palette for myself and my daughter. I have no regrets.

SO I do think its not as cool as the promo images but it also depends on skintone. Like for me this palette is very cool all the shimmer shades show up as a silverish/ grey glitter situation. As someone of a deeper complexion I wouldve appreciated her adding one more deeper shade other than the brown. But overall i really do like this palette and will probably swap some shades out from my bronze palette to travel with it
