This collection looks beautiful. I would like ALL of the lipsticks. I’d buy the palette for gift for my cool-toned bestie.
The colours aren’t really my style but I love that box!
I’d love that if they made the box into a mirror compact.
Just what I needed! (Not). Even more Nars red lips. Weak. Want. Esp the pencils. Maybe the non-red Carrera. Like the overall feel of the collection, and prefer the shade names to the art, for once. Gotta have some dupes, to avoid a splurge. We’ll see…..
I’m feeling sad about the e/s palette. Womp-womp. No depth!
The lip products have me scratching my head. Particularly the Audacious Lipsticks in Madura and Carrara. Shades of Nancy and Sheena repackaged, no? ?
BUT; then there’s Canoga! Kapow! ?️
From swatches it appears that all of the shades in the e/s palette are shimmers so not great for me personally. Also, the colour story while pretty, is easily duped, I believe. Now the lipstick pencils I love but realistically would only use 2 of the 4 shades. I do like the shade Rosa a lot though. Overall, I think I can skip this one easily so no threat to my no buy.
I wonder what the hold up is on the VMLP set? Definitely interested in it!
In the mean time I have ordered the eyeshadow palette and one of the Audacious lipsticks. 🙂
A lovely looking palette – and that is the blue shade that Colour Pop should have used instead. Very soft and subtle shades that seem quite cohesive.
The lipsticks look good too.
This collection is soooo so stunning, I love seeing brands collaborating with artists, I find the collections so much more inspired than another collection with a celebrity or BG (I like those but there’s just so much same same there). So disappointed I can’t buy this collection as I’m on a No-Buy year, and unfortunately as Nars started to sell in China it’s not CF anyway…. but I can still recognize and praise a job well done, and beg for more and more collaborations with artists, they are so exciting and we need to support artists lest we lose them
This is a beautiful collection. I think it’s lovely, well coordinated! Of course, pretty much everything can be duped. It’s 2019, what hasn’t already been made yet?
Shame the palette leans so warm overall. Obscura is a beautiful shade.
The colors in the palette are pretty even if not very exciting. The repurposing of the box as a compact is a neat idea. However if it was mine, the design with the “smears” of color would have me constantly checking to see if I’d cut myself or accidentally smashed a lipstick. I’m pretty clumsy.
The palette is actually very interesting for being so clearly neutral; it looks like they managed to make the colors interesting despite the lack of any real medium-dark to dark shades — that blue! It won’t work well on darker skin-tones I think, but on medium to light it might well be the perfect Spring palette (if you like shimmers).
The bullet lipstick tubes are tiny works of art! That Madura in that wrapper — woof … I thought I was mostly immune to packaging, but apparently, I do have my weaknesses.
This collection is right up my alley! I’m loving most of the lip colors as well as the packaging. This collection will eat a hole in my wallet.
The palette looks like the Paris Nude from Viseart! Can’t wait to read tour review.
Thanks for your work, Christine, you are the best!
The eye palette is the kind of thing I’d use the heck out of during summer, even though they’re not terribly exciting.
The lip colors are pretty standard NARS, though I love the pencil box packaging.
If only Nars was still cruelty free. Sometimes when these collections come out it really breaks my heart. Red lipsticks and cool shadows. All my favorites.
Nars is on a roll the past year or two. Eyeshadows, blush, highlighters or lipsticks, Francois’s team is superb. Everything is there – quality, presentation, relevant to current make up trends while producing more classics. Loving Nars!
I didn’t think I needed it but did purchase the “Skin Deep” palette and I love it! Neutrals with added pops of color that work well when applied.
Nice collection!
