I get that their Orgasm blush is super popular, and that their duo with Orgasm and Laguna is also very popular, but could NARS stop putting them into every cheek palette they produce? I’d love to see them try a new combination of colors…

I didn’t know what was in it when I started swatching it, but as soon as I swatched, I was like, “Oh, you’re all very familiar…” I don’t know how many people who would consider buying a NARS cheek palette don’t already have Orgasm/Laguna at this point (or haven’t tried and determined neither are for them). Would have loved to see a different blush/bronzer.

If I hadn’t gotten the “One night stand” palette I would be hopping on this cheek palette… as it is, I COULD gift it if I really wanted that brush but… I just don’t.

With Orgasm in at least 4 NARS palettes, probably more, frankly I’m growing rather SATIATED with it. It’s EVERYWHERE. This overpromotion caused me to get Splendor in the Grass this winter: NO ORGASM! Ditto what Christine said. Most make up junkies have enough of that shade for eternity. They have so many great shades, which are being neglected. I think it’s a bad marketing move, as lots of us will deselect any palette which provides us with, yes, ANOTHER Orgasm.

I agree completely that they need to start coming out with more cheek palettes WITHOUT orgasm. What actually makes me angry is that when I purchased the full size orgasm blush a few years ago, I was looking for any kind of palette or set that included orgasm and there were none. This palette would have been perfect. And the brush is included! Ugh! lol
The eye palette looks sooooo pretty!!

I wish they would make some of the highlighting powders they’ve had in recent palettes separately. I don’t like Albatross or New Order, and a couple of the others are too dark for my skin. This one looks like it would be really pretty, but I already own Orgasm and Laguna.

Emi Avatar

I like NARS blushes and I’d like to get more in palette form, but even though I have only one NARS blush palette, it includes Orgasm (which is okay, but I don’t love). They really need to do more palettes without Orgasm – or Laguna for that matter.

How about a matte bronzer + dolce vita + nico palette? I would be ALL OVER that.

Enough with Orgasm and Laguna! We get it, already, lol. I do enjoy both, but they don’t need to keep putting them out in palettes. And, last I looked, Gina and Gilda blushes were discontinued…I don’t get that…at all. 🙁

I wanted One Night Stand for the highlighter, and I wouldn’t mind another Orgasm & Laguna, and since this is nearly half the price, without 3 shades I would never touch (and the included brush! ), I will try my best to pick this one up!

The eye palette is nice, in the sense it has so many of the shades I use most in one place, but I have literally every single & duo included, so $80 can be spent elsewhere. However, it really is a good deal when one considers the total price of each separately…

OMG can we stop with orgasm and laguna? who seriously don’t own these by now? and everytime a new palette comes out, this is all people complain about. do they honestly not know?

and would it kill them to put a new shade in the eyeshadow palette? or something exclusive/LE just to this palette? i don’t think bringing back repromotes count. it’s the easiest and oldest marketing trick in the book. maybe i’m just bitter cause i own so much NARS so whenever they bring out things like this i can never buy cause i own half the shades.

As listed above, this is the information as provided by NARS (copied and pasted from this post): “Available January 15th on narscosmetics.com and NARSissist followers; February 1st for NARS Boutiques and department/specialty stores.” That is all the info I have!

Palette! It’s 80 bucks!! But so beautiful!!! A lot of palettes have been coming out lately, but this one looks so unique to me! This and the naked 3 🙂

OH.MY.GOSH.

I need that eye palette! I have never tried NARS shadows before, but I’ve lusted after the And God Created the Woman palette for awhile now. Assuming the eye palette rates higher than a B from you, Christine, then I will be splurging for it.

Mostly likely with the cheek palette as well because I don’t have Orgasm or Luguna (SURPRISE!) and I like that this palette comes with a highlighter.

I’m so excited!!!!

But I really hate the outside packaging. It looks really tacky. 🙁

I don’t have Laguna or Devotee, but I do have the orgasm multiple, and the super orgasm blush. I would like to try Laguna, because I’ve heard so much about it, and the brush and Devotee seem nice, but idk if I would be better off trying a different product for the money, since I don’t need any of them.

Christine, do you think that the orgasm multiple and the orgasm powder swatch differently?
