Is this supposed to be a compact version of Sheer Glow? I hope it’s a different formula, because I’m not a huge fan of Sheer Glow.
Christine, I hope you will be reviewing this product when it becomes available. There are certainly a lot of shades to choose from….but, like a lot of these products, they really have to be seen in person to get a good color match. Hope Sephora carries them. I could never trust ordering on line. My Sephora never seems to get the new releases until they are no longer “new.”

i love the names nars always selects theyre so ethnic and diverse makes a woman appreciate foundation colors more
Hi Christine. I love your blog and it has saved me so much money, as well as costing me more!
I am having trouble logging into my account. It does not tell me that my password is wrong or anything like that. It just does not register as logged in. I have had this issue since yesterday and only with your site, no other sites that require a log in….if it just my computer, my apologies…..
Thanks for any help you can offer!
Hi Vicky!
Nick is looking into this for you, and he’s trying a few things – once I have more info for you, I will let you know! Thank you!
Since we are discussing technical issues, I haven’t been able to view your site on my android phone since your redesign a few months ago. 🙁
Hi Lala,
Could you email us? All technical issues are best sent using our contact form, as I can’t actually help you – and I’m the one who reads the comments – and if you have a technical issue, it gets straight to our two developers who can then ask you any follow-up questions as necessary. It’s a lot easier and faster for us to handle that way, rather than me as a middle man! 🙂 You can email either nick[at]temptalia.com or shaun[at]temptalia.com.
will do! 🙂
Thanks, Lala! 🙂
I never use compact foundation but seeing this makes me want to give it a go 🙂
Glad to see NARS expanding their foundation formula, and with a lot of undertones to boot! 🙂
I’m curious to see what this is like. I’ve been impressed with the new Nars launches thus far in 2013- the setting powder, the concealer and the new satin lip pencils- so I’m quite hopeful.
Now this makes me happy and excited! They have colors for WOC whooo hooo!!
I love anything NARS – and that’s a great ad!
I LOVE cream foundations for fall and winter, so I’m looking forward to these. I love that they’re offering these in the same array of shades as their other foundations.
Could the campaign pic be more edited?! the lady in the middle is photoshopped to malformation! I’m really interested in the product but this image is disgusting
She doesn’t look malformed to me, she looks Asian. I agree that there has clearly been the usual airbrushing of skin texture etc, but I guess I’m just not seeing what you are seeing.
I’m not sure if I’m going to like this but I appreciate that they kept the same colors as the regular foundations! As a pale girl a lot of companies don’t have paler shades in all the product line!
Actually, is this suppose to be the foundation equivalent of the Radiant Creamy Concealer? Because if it is anything as smooth, opaque-yet-light without enhancing fine lines as the concealer, I’m ordering three. Seriously, I should just put the concealer on my face as foundation already.
oooh. I’ve been wanting a cream foundation, but am having trouble finding a good match. Siberia could be good if it’s pale enough!
I’m between shades in Sheer Glow (although that’s probably just me being picky), but maybe the colors will come out slightly differently in the new formula. Excited to see it! I’ve been thinking about getting a cream foundation for the winter. Never tried one but my skin is much drier now than it used to be.
I just want to say that promo picture is gorgeous. It makes me feel intrigued about the product.
Thanks NARS for giving us pale chicks such a diverse range of fair skin foundation colours. In other words, two.
>_<
Right? I won’t even bother with this. Their lightest shades are always too dark or too yellow.
I’m concerned with this too. I have the radiant concealer in Chantilly, and am contemplating returning it – it’s pastel yellow basically, and the Sheer Glow foundations are either obviously pink and too dark or obviously yellow.
I am definitely going to look into this when it is released! I love all of Nars’ products because his is one of the few brands that has never disappointed me. I just need to wait and see if it will be matte, luminous, or satin finish and see some reviews…
It looks like whatever shade you are in their other foundations will be the same in this one, since they’re keeping the names. I do hope that is the case. I love the Sheer Glow, so I’m looking forward to this!
I adore cream foundations. They are so amazing for just buffing a bit on at a time to get a really flawless face. I used to swear by liquids, but as I get older, I appreciate creams which seem to move and flex better on my skin.. Less settling into lines. I may have to give this a try.
This looks interesting. I’m wondering what the formula will turn out to be like.
Christine, thank you, would you have a list of ingredients ?
I don’t! I received sample packaging for this product.
