NARS Little Darling Lipstick

NARS Little Darling Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a limited edition light beige nude that applies semi-sheer with a glossier finish. It seems to have more neutral undertones, and on me, it looks like my natural lip color pulls a touch of pink out of it. It has a creamier, slicker feel than other NARS lipsticks have, and it is very comfortable to wear.

NARS Lipstick typically wears four to six hours, with a shade like this lasting just under four. It has a creamier texture that’s moisturizing, and this particular shade is more opaque (some shades can be quite sheer). I didn’t notice any waxy scent, as NARS lipsticks are typically unscented but the scent of the waxy base sometimes come through.

FINAL THOUGHTS: For lighter skin tones, both cool and warm, I see this being a workable nude. It’s sheer enough that it doesn’t come across too pale, but it has enough color to alter the natural color of your lips.

I actually have this lispstick and I love it!
It is rare for nudes to work on my fair skin, but this one is wonderful, it doesn’t wash me out and is a bit glossy, thus very wearable.
Besides, NARS lipsticks are just great in general, so moisturizing, such a nice texture! Love it!

First of all, I LOVE the shot of the lipstick at the start, the way the bullet and the cap and in focus and the rest isn’t looks so cool!

This is actually a nude I could wear! what are the chances. I’m very cool with very pink undertones so they usual beiges are such a clash but this looks light and silvery!

Honestly, I don’t see the point of spending $24 for something that sheer; it looks like lip balm! And if Hug Me is similar, better to spend $14.50 for that then for the NARS.

That one actually looks really pretty. It’s difficult for most ladies to wear nudes without looking cheesy or ghostly. You need to have just the right skin tone. NARS hit the mark with this color. It looks wearable for everyone.

THEY’RE ALREADY SOLD OUT ON THE SEPHORA WEBSITE BUT THEY STILL HAVE SOME ON THE NARS WEBSITE, I JUST GOT MINE AND IT’S FREE SHIPPING FOR PURCHASES OVER $25

This is probably one of the most “attractive” nudes I have ever seen. I usually can’t pull off nudes because my lips are quite pigmented and a nude lipstick just looks wrong. But because this one is quite sheer, I’d like to try it out to see if I could actually wear it.
I think it’s lovely on you, btw

I have it and I wasn´t sure before I bought it but I do love it, I am not one for nudes and beige lips but this is actually nice, creamier and useful when I go for dramatic eyes. I wish it was not LE, honestly, can´t see why Nars is launching so many LE recently

I have very pigmented lips (rosy berry) and this lipstick looks like a great nude on me. Francois l’a fait bien: Francois did it well!

Terrific color. I rarely wear nudes but tried this and loved it. It’s a great opaque/sheer combo – not so opaque that you look like you’re wearing Clearasil cover-up but not so sheer that it doesn’t show up. I felt like I needed a liner to even out my lips and the MAC “Oak” is a perfect match (and will work well with lots of other beige nudes). It’s a shame that LD is LE.

I was about adding it in my wish-list but you precised that it’s for light skin tone. I skip (unfortunately). I definitively love nars lipsticks and lipglosses. They are not quite pricey in France comparing to chanel, ysl but if I compare with mac… anyway, I love them all.

Omg, it looks so good on you! My lips are VERY pigmented so I won`t be surprised if it doesn`t work out for me but I`m definitely going to check it out 😀

OOOOH this looks super pretty on you, especially with your eye makeup! what do you have on your eyes in this photo?? Does NARS lipstick have any scent? I have dolce vita but haven’t used it for awhile and to the best of my memory I’m thinking it does NOT have a scent.. which is a minus for me. I love scented lip products.
